No, it's most efficient at 2 engines. The only reason you'd build more is if you have over 200 foundations. If the base speed of the raft is 1x, a single engine will bring it up to 2x. An additional engine will bring it up to 2.5x only. At that point, every 100 foundation will need an additional engine to make it move.

@@adamknight5089 No, that was a bug. It was never supposed to be able to attack the inner most foundation. That fact that it could, meant that you're kind of screwed unless you armor up the entire raft.

@@chuckytheman That was around for a very long time though, bug or not, it comes part of the game. Like how the seagull currently is 'just a bug' but it's still not fixed so we have to learn to play the game as it currently is. If a bug is fixed within a few days with a patch OK but the devs don't do this.

@@RaunchyPixels I mean if you make a room and close it up, the seagull still flies through the wall/roof and attacks crops inside it, shouldn't do this

@@elreanafayn8542 u can hit him once or twice and then wait him to come back and eat it again then u'll kill him faster!

hitting the shark while its eating bait will take the shark off the bait. if you're in the water, it may decide to attack you. if not, it will eventually come back to the bait. IMO, its easier to just kill the shark with timing, you can attack the shark without taking any damage if you hit it right after its jaws open (watching video tutorials helped me a lot). it takes a bit of practice, but it's a lot faster and you feel like a pro when you get it down :)

I think it might be not, beacose i'm pretty sure 2sails made my raft faster.

If I recall correctly, the blue dots on the radar are story islands. The green dots are large islands. Small islands don’t show up on the radar. You can find the blueprint for the engine on the 2nd story island Vasagatan. You find islands by either just drifting with the wind or using your radar and heading towards the green dots. I have done a video on the island types if that helps :)

Even if cooked, it's minimal. Much better to just kill the shark for food. It's a waste of wood to cook beets and potatoes. Use your wood smarter with spears.

@@adamknight5089 You can make simple recipies like vegetable soup and then food gain is significant. Still worth to grow potatoes / beets.
