When I was a kid I dreamed sometimes of scoring video games at the same level as Sonic Adventure 2 battle, maybe the greatest video game sound track of all time. The whole track is a banger. Within 5 seconds, I had already decided not to skip ahead. ..just let the track play. But everything after 2:21 is absolute genius. Holy f**k dude. That fuzz bass tone and perfect choice of kick/snare samples.. The side-chained trem type effect on the bass as it builds up and drops. Some of the best production I've heard in a long, long time.

They've been a huge disappointment lately. ..and I say that as a dude who grew up learning guitar to RATM records in the 90s. I've even hung out with Tom backstage before. Lovely dude. ...but damn, have they sold oooooooout. Lmao Luckily, I love music too much to let personal/political stuff get in the way of the art - even with political bands like Rage. Anyway, I 100% identify with the headspace you're in. ..and I'm here for it. Can't wait to hear more!! I'll definitely be playing this track at band rehearsal on Monday. The boys will love this. I am mostly around the NYC area or Cleveland, but I travel a bunch, and very soon imma be all up in that VR space which I'm really excited about because its way more accessible for people.
