I've done plenty of mad scientisting on these 400 mm birds. They are pretty tough, but everything breaks at some point. This video will get you to the point where you could basically replace any of the components. As you can see in the video of the bluebird Corsair that I removed the wing in order to access the board, and the other bird has an excess hatch. I cover it in pretty good detail. How to remove the gearbox. And change it. It was the same process to change the motor, and the excess hatch gives you access to the board for that. Also, to just change your motor or a servo. If you have to change the whole board, that's the same process as just basically taking the hatch apart or removing the wing. In order to access where the board is unplugging the servos. And motor and plugging it into the new board. So this video should get you pretty much to the point where you can rebuild any 400mm Warbird situation that you might have.

Hey @Davidlewis620 thanks alot I'm just Starting with this KZfaq stuff and I have anxiety on whether I'm reaching the people I need to reach because. I spent a lot of time when I first started very aggravated that I could not get details from anywhere on KZfaq trying to bring you those details that I couldn't get now that I understand them. It's. Clear to me why people don't cover them because it's not that important once you understand everything. But when you don't, it can be quite frustrated. PLEASE let me know if there is something Specific that you would like me to cover and I will.

I love my little UMX warbird line too. I have the p51 and Corsair Volantex 400mm. They take a bearing and keep on flying. 👍

On that topic it's crazy. A friend of mine is an artist. He painted my red tail completely because he had lost it in a tree for a couple of weeks when we finally retrieved it. It was a bit weathered and beaten after it had rained a few times he painted up nice and cool I was the next day I was looking for something in the back and I took it out and set it on top of the Van. Without paying attention, I slammed the door and smashed the hole tail in the van door, took it out a few minutes later. It had already reformed to its normal shape. Durable, little sucker.

Thank you soo much for the comments I have a year worth of stored in my device that I'm trying to put into videos so some of the quality is better than others. I have since then. Learned to use the 16.9, so I'm good there. And I'm just always shoot in landscape mode. I now have a fancy holding device. That is adjustable wherever I need it so that I can pinpoint these videos. So that problem's also solved. Back then I used the CA for the speed of things with the kicker. I use a lot of the slow glues for builds. And such, but the aggravation of waiting for them to dry is usually beyond me. So I have since then, started using hot glue for most things. And I do believe with the very precision glue gun that I have recently acquired if I was doing a repair today. I probably would use a teeny slither in there of hot glue in there. I will try that soon, but to be honest we have not touched the minis in a bit. I totally agree with installing the hub prior to putting the gearbox. In cause those hubs can be hard to get on in this case, it wasn't.i got lucky

An excellent video tutorial mate! You have not succumbed to the usual mistake of not having the camera firmly fixed to a stable base. Only suggestions you might consider are to try filming and posting your videos in Panorama rather than Portrait format so the phone screen size fills the 16x9 computer screen format better. Phone viewers can easily hold their phone sideways - a bit harder for computer users. 😉 Another suggestion is to not use CA on EPP foam. The flexible nature of EPP works best with glues with some flex in them. The Chinese snot glue used at manufacture is ideal for purpose (and can be stretched and snipped off to split the joints as you have done here) but any contact cement or rubber glue can be used with EPP. (DON'T put it near EPS!) As a shaky-hands Old Fart I find CA also inevitably drips into somewhere that you don't want it. 😱🙄 1 last point. That white plastic connector on the gearbox output shaft is probably best installed before you reseat the gearbox. That would make it easier to line up the flat on the shaft with the D-shaped hole in the plastic and to support the back end of the shaft while you push it on. Gets a bit harder to replace that prop connector when the whole shebang is installed but it can be done. These Volantex V761 series toys (in all their rebranded iterations) are great little toys - especially with the more recent upgrades of better serviceability, telemetry and S-bus plus DSM satellite receiver ports. 😊

Not sure what's going on with my replies but I had already replied to this. Thank you so much for the comments. And thanks for.looking This is an older video that I shot before. I knew about the 16x9 format so that has been corrected at current day. And I try to have someone else fly. And I feel as I seem to do it better than most filming.
