Raging Harlem Street Justice Mob Begs NYPD to Release Sick Perp Who Slashed An 11-Year-Old

New York City police intervened to prevent a mob in Harlem from attacking Shaquan Cummings, a 30-year-old man accused of a violent attack on an 11-year-old girl. The incident occurred Friday afternoon on the 116th Street 6 subway platform, where Cummings is alleged to have slashed the girl in the head and ear as she stood next to her mother. Prior to this assault, Cummings reportedly punched a 43-year-old woman nearby.
The young victim, feeling a sharp pain, turned to find Cummings fleeing with a box cutter. Despite her mother's attempts to stop him, including flagging down a subway conductor, Cummings escaped. The attack left the girl severely traumatized, now afraid to venture outside, and requiring surgery to repair the wounds, which included multiple stitches and staples.
The incident led to an outpour of public outrage. A mob formed, seeking to confront Cummings, who was quickly apprehended by the police just a block away from where he initially fled. In a dramatic scene captured on video and shared on social media, police shielded Cummings from the angry crowd, some of whom attempted to strike him.
This attack is one of several violent offenses attributed to Cummings, who has a lengthy criminal history including over 20 prior arrests. His recent activities have reignited concerns over public safety and the effectiveness of the city's measures to manage repeat offenders.
Cummings was charged with two counts of assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child. The NYPD has since recovered the weapon involved, a box cutter, from the uptown train tracks. The community and the victim's family now await justice, hoping for a safer environment where such violent acts are a rarity rather than a recurring nightmare.

Yeah well in Australia a female cop RAN TO where an armed suspect was on a rampage ( killing a number victims) . She confronted him, shot him dead as he lunged at her, called for help for victims, called for backup, conducted crowd control and performed first aid. So not all police are created the same, including women. I do remember male police standing outside a school while kids where being slaughtered until one turned up who did what the rest couldn’t . Those cowardly male police are not representative of all male police officers,

I do believe in law and order, but the criminal justice system has surely failed the people by the mere fact that this criminal was still on the streets after a record such as his, where by street justice is the only source of stabilization for a neighborhood. Acts are always followed by react's and in this case the reaction of the people is what they have allowed to fester by the broken system of justice. This will play out more and more as the people no longer trust justice to be carried out effectively!!
