Reason i quit rox due to too long screen time, rom is very relax, as getting older of coz we have real life commitment, but im still gonna give it a try. I still remember they introduce roo as tencent ro in early days. Now already ~5 years lol.

the only real reason why no other ragnarok can compare to RoM is offline farming. will never play another mobile rpg without offline farming. rip phones without it

It was clarified that it isn't 100 servers but their servers can accommodate to at least 100 servers of the need arise. They will start with small number of server. You could have also included how MVP hunting works for both version. Since the start, ROM EL is solo galore on MvP bosses while on ROO, you need many people to kill MvP bosses.

Rom was so good with the old guild war it feels more competitive and good chance for other low guild to shine than now it became bored as it kills the starter guild to play freely

wait until 3~4 years then we will see qol and also graphic update for ROO same as ROM before 😂, as for me i love ROO more since its follow almost the same as RO1 in term of cards,monster,map and also the story are quite good, well that just my opinion, just pick what u think suit for you and just enjoy the game ❤

One thing has always been my concern in ROM: inconsistent English translation. At one point they mention Lasagna, the other time it is Rozana. Fuuma Shuriken = Wind Monster? So literal for translating Fuu (wind) and Ma (demon). And many others. At least ROX has done a great job for this. I am not really PvP oriented myself, so if ROO can somehow manage to have a good content translation, I think I can consider playing it

ROO grahics doesn't give me the same feel as the Original RO but it feels like RO in terms of skill / leveling while ROM is like a private server.

When the release of ROM back in 2017, I saw alot of things which dissapont me, I played the game anyways (because that's the only RO at that time) Then at the same year I saw ROO and my inital thought is, this is the kind of RO I've been looking for, then I wait for a long time, hoping that anytime that year it will be release, days becomes weeks, weeks turns into months and into years and after 6 years of waiting I can now play the game now.. all I could say is "If you love someone whether it is a person, a dream, or a game whatsoever you are willing to wait no matter how long it takes."

Ive played alot of Ro back in the days cant specifically point which is the best. Theres a feature in every ro game i play which not exist in every single ro i experience to play. So far rom is the nearest ro to compile all of the original storyline maps quest features jobs and character development system. While roo has like a less cranky animation and i might give it a try from my pc

I tried all private ragnarok origin even the official korean one. ROM is still better overall. In R Origin, you really need to top up to catch up

I think ROM only happened to be more f2p because of passage of time, which is good, every game should somewhat improve their treatment to f2p and low-mid spenders if they're already released for a long time

For my opinion for those who nv played the first ro released on PC, ROO is the remake ver for RO PC all the skill n card effect r the same as original ro. Comparing ROM is different from original and able to solo MVP. Additional Hero job class which not implant in original ro. So for p2w or f2p I could say is depends, roo is f2p if u just grind to get strong gear. Same with ROM.

Did they fix ROO? I remember playing beta as Swordsman and I could not even naturally regen HP, even with the Increase Recuperative Power passive.

I quit ROM already for 2 years but their UI is more beginner friendly even on 2018 release. Why can't ROO just simplify those tabs related to in app purchases.

im not fan of both, but i know ROM are the last the longest Ragnarok Mobile ever than ROO and ROX regardless of the aspect in the game, mark what i said. you will know in 2024. both ROO and ROX will be community game after 1 year service. NB: Based in fitures ingame, "RO Origin 2.0" are Taiwan Based are the most P2W RO Mobile: 1. CP/Power System: When server level going 60++, players with low CP will receive discrimination because it is very difficult to find a party. 2. Pet System are really broken for early - mid level grinding and some fiture like: Time Space, Alfheim and other solo content specially in PVP (ROO have 3 super broken Pet for whale, maybe Leviathan) 3. Title: The title has several color levels with 5 stars each, where the difference for every 1 star is 5% damage during PVP, you know how far the GAP F2P/Low-Spender/Mid Spender and Whale - Kraken and Leviathan or Sea Dragon. 4. Fethers: some feather have speciall effect for PVP content where you can only buy it with "Cash", no chance for F2P and low spender 5. Statue: more broken than Feathers 6. Before the Begetter patch, ROO creator was better as the Homunculi are strong but there is a nasty bug in ROO where if the Creator/homunculus dies, the damage of Homunculus will be extremely low and will require a change map or go back to character select to bring it back to normal. Also ROO has Filir, RoM does not. Also their version of Life Psychic is not OP compared to RoM. Switching homunculus in ROO is faster and better than RoM... though no void summon rune in ROO And yes, Assassin is the Dev's son in ROO. Hahahaha

Most people that is p2w, f2p or whales play mmorpg games for the end game(pvp). If that's the kind of pvp they will implement, then im pretty much sure they will loose players fast than rom did.

i still prefer rom no matter how good grahpics and mechanics of the game i cant restart again from scratch just because of much better graphicss and game play at the end of the day both is p2w so if u want to continue u r progress go rom but if want to restart and prefer better graphics and new type of game play go ROO

ROO negative for f2p when it comes to Combat power game type expect at late game play whales will over power you and also it comes with a combat power ranking + hour of daily routine to catch up the combat power well i know the game personally since i tried it at there private server before very hard to advance into purple gears you will be stuck at blue fragment without investments :) just missed 1-3 day expect you will play with a bot instances haha

So ROO has a combat power points same as other MMORPG mobile games

Im not expecting anymore till vr. Pc ragnarok became awesome over time till it closed. Now, ragnarok mobile is also going with that trend. Its all just a rehash at this point. I just wish they'd hurry up in making the virtual reality more accessible to all. So we can enjoy ragnarok AS the character itself.

Seriously? I've played both games til now. Origin has the upper hand on f2p players not in terms of depo/cp but if you know how to play, you can win easily on whales and even dungeons lol. Also no anti fatals. No bias but 100% for pc client as always

I think you must exclude the offline grind part. Also you must compare the year where ROM was released to be fair. Because obviously ROM has less burden and people who's busy will surely choose RoM over ROO. Compare it to the year when ROM was released so they may have better idea which is better. :)

ROM was my first mobile RO and it felt really good playing RO again since classic but after a month of playing the fresh ROM server it was kinda disappointing knowing that it is heavily P2W! F2P players really struggle even early game stage specially in PvP where Sniper's CRITing you with 10k is very underwhelming to play. Come mid game where I still farm so hard but those who spends will win the grinding of exp/zeny, you can't maximize your farming because those players will overpowered you with their damage, Late game I really lost it, too much 1 hit KO damage and the MVP's aren't being crowded because it can be soloed or duo. ROO was really a game changer for me, too much party/guild system going(Unlike ROM which you are allowed to just solo), every dungeon needs team work and all players are capped if server is fresh so you can't be very overpowered when it comes to PVP. You can still compete even if you are F2P but in the mid game their will be a big difference in F2P vs P2W. In terms of Grinding I can still enjoy it, I can easily buy dmg cards to boost my farming. Also, MVP's here are being crowded by players, you can enjoy the rewards even if you're just casual hitting it. So, IMO I won't go back to ROM now that I'm enjoying ROO 10 times.

I'll pick ROM, ROO seems to be so much work, there's a lot of mechanics shoved to you at once, there are also a ton of time gated activities that you need to do daily vs ROM

I’ve played both games and i must disagree with f2p not standing a chance in pvp. Rare item drops are very fair in ROO as it doesn’t automatically go to who got the most dmg, rare armors and weapons are equally accessible to anyone doing HHH and other players felt compelled to help you with dailies because of union coins which give very decent rewards and cannot be bought by real money. Also, boss hunt rare rewards such as accessories and cards are random; doesn’t matter if you got the first blow/ last hit/ mvp..even a solo grinder who accidentally hit the mvp with their aoe can still get the cards and accessories which in my opinion really is a nice touch for ROO so whales can’t monopolise on boss hunts.

F2p or P2w ot doesnt matter… For devs, your emotions and reasons is business. Just like influencers or any socmed icons, they make money out of people desires. You play , they earn.

playing rox 2 years only +9 3 acesoris, playing roo in 20 days +15 in weapon + 12 2 acesories and all the rest + 9, in roo is cheaper 90% than rox, now i play roo not rox anymore

for me, Ragnarok eternal love ia better graphics, because it's simple and easy to understand, when i tried to play Ragnarok origin, i really really can't understand it, a lack of guide for the first timer, i played it for almost 1 week, but I'm still confused.

early game rom was the worst. there are class who are outshine everybody in term of pvp. bash knight, creator, are the one. balance is kinda off ofc mvp problem. there even a software to make you tele directly to mvp. midspender enjoy a lot of domination. let alone sultan with OP depo. good thing in rom WOE is hell of fun. in rom its mandatory to make and alt or two. because you need that zeni to improve while ROO doesnt have this kind of problem rom was fun. and i found roo also equally fun

F2p - i play for fun. Next year i quit broken +3

People saying ROM is dead lol. May I remind you guys that both of these games ROM and ROO are under the same parent company GRAVITY 😂. Technically there is no comparion here lol.

In private server ROO, only has 1 server, and no big gap to P2W and f2p. I manage to stay on top by making a lot of dummies.
