Sort of! You can bring base game characters and intruders to lockdown. I actually cover how to do that in the tutorial video on my channel. I don’t think you can bring lockdown stuff to the base game though.

Sure! The other side of the map is cool. Definitely changes things up a bit, with new sources of danger, but ultimately I find it pretty similar to the base game. One of the CSS pod locations is in a fixed spot on the surface though, which adds just a touch more information at the beginning, so that’s nice. The Chytrids will sneak up on you. They don’t seem as dangerous because they attack a little less, but they’re constantly spreading spores and overtaking the base, so you really have to stay on your toes. The green painted minis are also just gorgeous. Again, that might be KS exclusive, but they look fantastic.

Unfortunately I haven't played Carnomorphs, so I wouldn't be able to do a direct comparison, but I do know that both of them will work with Lockdown. There are some pretty simple conversion rules, and from what I've seen, Carnomorphs has fewer. Basically just a different lab board. Hope that helps.

Some of it’s just different choices that fit my aesthetics/preferences better. Things like how the css pods work vs escape pods fall into that category. But I really like the darkness mechanic. Not only does it make threats more obvious and atmospheric, it also provides a way to reduce the noise in powered sections, which feels like a godsend.

I have. If you watch the runthrough, I actually play it as a two player game, so you can see it in action. As with the original Nemesis, I think two player works well, but I'd rather do 2p in full coop mode. Certain objectives tend to be a bit more difficult, so having the extra worry about your friends betraying you is a little less appealing to me in that scenario. Other than that, it plays out pretty similarly to the higher player counts.

@@songsong5494 it's not silent move, it's "careful move", thematically I think so you can hear better I know it's confusing, but it is definitely the noise heard according to designer (and not outlined clearly in rules...) If you meant the silence room encounter token, it means you hear nothing . "Danger" means you hear noise everywhere, hence putting tokens on every adjacent corridor
