Maybe evangelist obediah have skipped one key Passage which i believe Brother Asiamah was saying..Jesus being a Prophet is simply because He is the Word of God..but John the Baptist was the last that God sent..John the revelater was a disciple..and Hebrews 1:1-3 makes it clear that, God no longer speaks to Prophets..this is what brother Asiamah is saying..and this is why we are having a lot of many false Prophets today..because what Obadiah is saying is going to breed many Prophet in the country..obadiah should stop comparing Jesus with them..God's says He is speaking through Jesus with the Passage i gave..

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 was talking about the redemptive coming of the Jesus Christ because prior to his coming the patriarchs and the Israelites (God’s chosen) nation saw things in part which He (Jesus Christ) came to fulfil and make them complete. Everything comes down to knowing what ‘the Perfect’ is. Knowing what the Perfect is, is the condition to determine whether or not these gifts still exist in our time. I took time to listen entirely to you. You are only expressing ignorance by shouting and making unrelated assumptions, taking things so personal and only making sensational points; I must say, only those that do not have prior understanding in Bible study will think you’re so right but in actual sense, you’re not, my Brother. I want you to take this advice not personal but as constructive. Now, the question is ‘what is referred to as THE PERFECT’ as mentioned in 1Corinthians 13 ? To understand any document in this world, you need to study the language in which that document was written. Listening to you in your entire video, you never considered the origin of that phrase in the English and Greek languages, you cannot ignore doing that because the holy scriptures were not written first in Twi. You know what, that is where the problem is for many people like yourself, my Brother, failing to go back to the origin of words and their meanings in the language in which they were written is a major source of misunderstanding and the reason for so many people just trying to make meaning out of what they know already in their life; that is exactly what you’re doing. Out of ignorance in finding the actual origin and meaning of words or phrases like this one, some people even say that ‘the Perfect’ as used by the apostle Paul here means the second coming of Jesus, and you also are saying it is the time in heaven…so which one is right, my Brother? The key thing here is that you study patiently and stop shouting ignorantly but confidently as if it is a personal fight or a game. Let me just conclude with what ‘the Perfect’ is as you study to find it patiently, I trust that is how you would approach things going forward. The Perfect is the ‘Holy Bible’ as we have presently in Christianity which we read and learn the wisdom of God from. The apostles at their time only had the Old Testament scriptures which corresponds to the apostle Paul saying that they see in part and prophesy in part. He then goes forward to say that ‘when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away’. Clearly, the perfect ,ie, the Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments) had not come and was not ready for us because the apostle Paul was still not done writing his books as we now find and read from in the Perfect (The Bible). Hence, now that we have the Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments), prophecy and everything mentioned has ceased. So do not get confused when you have found from the Bible that yes, there were prophets even after John the Baptist and that prophecy and everything else still went on because the Perfect had still not come. Don’t forget also that the apostle John was the last apostle who did not die as a martyr, meaning he wasn’t killed but grew old and died peacefully and was able to write the last book of the New Testament, Revelation, for us to now have the perfect. Compare these: the apostle Paul got martyred around 64AD in Rome however, the apostle John who was considered the favorite of our Lord Jesus died around 98 AD. So you see, there was lots of time for the gifts of prophecy and all the others to go on as taught by the apostle Paul as he continued writing his books that we have today. Even after he was done with his books and got killed in Rome, the perfect (The Holy Bible - Old and New)had not come yet because John the apostle had not yet added the book of Revelation. So my Brother, keep calm, stop shouting and study patiently. This is Bible study and not a personal attack on Bro. Daniel Owusu Asiamah and the churches of Christ. One last thing, the first thing you mentioned was that it is wrong to say ‘churches of Christ’ pointing to the fact that the term ‘Christ’ isn’t the actual name of our Lord Jesus but a title. I have no problem with that, however, reading from Romans 16:16, you see that the apostle Paul says “the churches of Christ salute you” so my Brother, are you saying you are more knowledgeable than the apostle Paul whose books you are reading and shouting confidently but ignorantly from?
