Undoubtedly the best orator amongst the Indian cricketers and better than most in the current crop worldwide, this speech has not just good points but reflects once again the sense of re-engineering the game needs. One can differ on a point or two but not much on the essence...

Some good points made - particularly the amalgamation of neighbouring domestic competitions, common to other sports - but I disagree about maintaining all three formats. The fifty-over game is toast and the cancellation of the Champions' Trophy a sensible call.

Great Thoughts Sir ! But I see this trend very natural and on the lines of how our society is changing . We can see the same pattern in other aspects of life- Movies killed Theaters , smartphones killed camera and mp3 player , Digital media killed news papers etc .. Cricket is not an exception and will evolve . If Test cricket needs to keep its place than it needs to change into more exciting form . Simply pressurizing national boards to add more test matches in their schedule will be unfair to them since they are only reacting to where the demand is . ICC needs to bring together Cricket Pundits like Dravid , Waugh , Viv , Border etc and brainstorm on how Test cricket could be made more exciting .

They should decrease number of ODIs. Tests represent heritage. T20s represent money. No spot for ODI
