There should never be a moment when you pull a new legendary and you think “aah crap”, like pulling most of these champs. Hopefully Plarium see this list and make some changes (and if they do, please fix the AI on Elenaril too!)

No mention of Crypt-King Graal? Skull Lord actually has places in the game, Crypt-King doesn't.

Visix: swap the sheild on a2 with the provoke on a3... a2 = aoe dec speed and provoke. a3 = single target hit, shield self, ally protect on team.... boom fixed her

Mortu-Macaab was my first lego, over a year ago. He's still 5 stars and mostly unused for me. I'd love to see Peril get its own cooldown and not be a secret skill, and have his passive changed to have a chance to reset or decrease the cooldown on it instead. But keep the campaign boss the current version (like how they did Ma'Shalled) so that stays balanced. Then I think for Bystophus, either bump up his multipliers, or maybe change his a2 such that it always crits (like ithos a3) and adds an additional amount of crit damage when the enemies are under block cooldowns. Maybe 10% for each enemy under a block cooldown.

Simple visix change: A2: Aoe spd down+provoke, A3: Ally prot+shield

For me as an end game player Visix is a very good champion because of FW utility. Dark elves have a lot of DMG dealers, but they have a very few healers, protectors and any other support kind champions. She has a crazy FW aura, reasonable kit and I hope she and Kaiden are this two who can help my 2 CHs and Zavia clear stage 21. For a void lego only FW utility is weak as hell, but I'll take it, especially she's free reward ;)

Skull Lord's passive with Skullsworn is actually amazing in fw. The boss targets skullsworn if you keep him at low level, it's an easier ticket through fw for those that don't have the other legendaries in the faction (besides Rhazin). Otherwise you would indeed never use Skullsworn .

Since the champions that we encounter in the dungeon waves are based off of the actual champions we have in-game, you always have to look at buffs and nerfs in this context as well. If Errol for example actually did block revive on his kills, you'd probably be pissed if he smacked your Coldheart in FK into the ground. They would probably need to redesign the dungeon waves, when making such changes to older champs, that we actually encounter in-game in a PvE setting.

I think people frequently underestimate Mortu Macaab. He was one of the first legendaries I pulled, and I use him in my main arena team. His passive skill is not a 20% chance to unlock peril every time he gets a turn, it's a 20% chance to unlock every time he is attacked. It's especially effective against multi-hitters. Sometimes the passive will proc multiple times, and he'll get his turn meter boosted all the way up and unlock peril at the same time. Also, whats nice about the fact that peril is a hidden skill is that he can't get locked out by champions like Hegemon because it doesn't count as a CD skill.

I got Visix on my FTP and its sad that she's actually helping my teams. Its mind boggling how some of these champs simply need a small tweak to make them useful. Warchief can kill blender comps using only his passive, but its too situational.

If Warchief just had an AoE buff strip and provoke for 2 turns then he’d be amazing...

Wurlims problem is the cooldowns, not the damage, he can hit REALLY hard

She was my 2nd Legendary pull and I love her. I put her in 6* Divine Life and team her with Ma'Shalled (my first) and Duchess Lilitu (my 3rd). I can see what you are referring to, but it helps to see what Champions you can team them with to make up for their shortfalls :)

So guys for Wurlim Frostking (remember he is a void legendary, so he should have a very good kit) A1: 50% freeze chance for 1 turn on the target , it cannot be resisted A3: Fully booked to a 3 turn cooldown and a extra turn Thats it ;)

Lord Champfort, Richtoff the Bold, and Crypt-King Graal should also make the list. - Lord Champfort is designed for dungeons and is an HP champion (his A2 AoE depends on HP), but if you give him HP the dungeon waves won't attack him, which defeats his passive. - Richtoff the Bold is supposed to be built for late-game dungeon with AoE poison, but he can't detonate them like Zavia. He's bad affinity for Dragon 20, has no TM control for fire knight, and Frozen Banshee can put out more poison damage on CB than he does. - Crypt-King Graal seems to be built for clan boss. He has HP burn and attack down, but neither book up to 100%, and the freeze + HP burn combo doesn't work on CB. The freeze + HP burn seems to be designed for spiders, but the HP burn maxes out at three and usually you only land one.

As someone who owns (and used, pre-"buff") a Bystophus, I've banged on about this. The worst thing about his "buff" was they nerfed the only thing he was good at, which was his A3 could actually do good single target damage. Now he's not good at anything.

Visix edit a1; Attacks 4 times at random, each hit stealing 5% of the target(s) turn meter. a2; 20% shield equal to the damage dealt. a3; 2 turn provoke Add Passive; Increase Visix turn meter by 5% whenever an ally is hit while under an ally protection buff. (doesn't work if it's an aoe attack) Not a huge edit but hopefully one that would make her more useful. Would love a revive ability on her

Yeah me and my clan were throwing around ideas for visix... Her kit is very strange as it stands. I would say aoe provoke, but then she doesn't need ally protection on that move except for bosses. If the HP shield were on all allies that would help. One thing that might be good is increase the turn meter steal to 15% per hit and add an effect like sleep, decrease attack, or weaken even. Based on other videos, she does hit a little weak, so maybe increase the multipliers on the a1 and a2 I do like that she doesn't take many books and you can get her cooldowns to 3 turns.

I got war mother and crypt king on the same day. Fml. I thought crypt king would have been on the list. I guess it’s RNG because my first legend was Warlord.

15.00 - You know about the Skull Lord cheese for faction wars, right? That passive may be stupid but it completely trivialises what would otherwise be quite a tough boss fight.

I'm FTP only. I pulled Yannica and Errol. Both were game changers for me. When you don't get many high end shards, they will do. They both slam. Yannica is actually amazing. In 100% crit gear, she's next level. When she's under her self-cast veil, her A1 Leech is AOE! Her A3 not only ignores shields, it removes them, then does additional damage. Errol just nukes hard and he's Force, so he take out a Trunda or Ninja in one hit, which saves your team from a ton of wipes.

I think adding [Block Debuff] to Wurlim A3 will make him very very viable in Clan Boss even with its actual multipliers. For now, it's A3 is very good for survavibility in Clan Boss, but other champs that bring survavibility to the Clan Boss team (like Grizzled Jarl, Jareg or Sepulcher Sentinel) also bring a [Block Debuff] (aka [Block Stun]) or [Decrease DEF] to the table. It's true that [Strengthen] is one of the best buffs in the game and that Wurlim is the only champ to put it on all allies, but with only 5 guys on your team a champ can't really worth a spot in the CB team when he only bring Def buffs imo.

The main problem with reflect damage is that it tends to be on Def champs that will have a high stack of that stat, now what does defense do with the damage number, it reduces it. So the damage that you take is reduced good, but that means that the damage that is reflected is reduced, bad. Make Warchief an HP champ and that would help. Make his A2 an AOE provoke, Make the A1 hit harder on creatures that are provoked and also make it extend the duration of provokes.

Warmother can be used in Arena with Souldrinker or another bomber. But it's not ideal, and she does die a lot. My bomb team is Gorgo, Duchess, SoulDrinker, WarMother. Works pretty good actually. Lots of dying. :)

You broke my heart with Errol in this list :( he’s been with me all the way told gold IV. In a relentless set he was matching my Trunda for damage even with single hitters.

I love the idea of secret skills or ultimate abilities you can unlock. They can be awesome due to high conditions to activate them. The problem is that the champs with these skills need to be good without the secret skill unlocked. It needs to be a bonus to an already good champion. Unlocking the ability should take them from atleast an A-tier champ to an S-Tier or higher god.

Great video m, and I agree with 90% of this. Especially Mortu who's a bit of a mess... I have to strongly disagree about Bystophus, though. I think you're thinking about him the wrong way - he's much better built for control rather than damage. With sniper he has an 80% chance to place block cd skills on an aoe, and with sniper it can go on for three turns. He also has the block on the A1, and two aoes on short cooldowns, so you can put him in a stun set. He's honestly one of the best control champs in the game, which I grant you isn't needed for endgame dungeons as you overpower them, but he's incredible for FW and will be top tier in Doom Tower. I just wish the defence break booked up to 100%...

I was laughing hard when you were talking about the buff of Astralith last patch.... Even if it was AoE bombs on her A2, she is still not as usefull as Lord Shazar

The one hiters will be good in Doom Tower, The Ice Spider will have spiderlings with counter that heal the main boss. So lots of 1 hitters will be wanted.

I run Mortu a lot. I don't have much of a problem landing his block debuffs skill once he was booked and he has a decent amount of ACC. The one big issue I have with him is that Peril is way to RNG. I think it should be a 4-turn A3 attack, even if it was weakened just touch, and give it a 20% chance of reactivating early. Do that, and Mortu would be a great champ.

I can't complain of my legos (ftp). Shard legos are Zavia, Nethril, Big un, Lugan (specifically wanted him for faction wars), and Yannica. Nice diversity in kits and factions.

My first 2 lego's I pulled were mortu and warchief... Mortu is still in my arena team for his speed lead, when speed tuned the block buffs part is really useful. But pulled a skullcrown and my third lego last week a hegemon, so changes are a coming.

To be fair, Mortu's Peril has a 20% chance to unlock every time he's hit. So if he's hit multiple times per round, he's gonna unlock it pretty quick if you build him tanky and slow.

I use Errol on my PvP team to snipe the resser, between his A3 and A2, he hits hard enough to 1 shot most ressers. 43k hp and 2250 def geared, he's got average survivability. (Granted, he's my highest scored character I have.) 2 sets of Divine gear for shield to help him live if I don't get the initiative.

Warchief increases defence per dead allies which will weaken the reflect damage. He needs to be a hp champ to help the reflect dmg. Also iam not sure but don't think reflect damage does more if the attacker is under def break which would be unique.

I have almost all of these... I cheered when Baron came up. Mine is even booked.

I'll keep on writing this. Most of players have no luck on pulling OP champs like mountain king, duchess, tormin. Rather than destroying their spirit, why don't you help them on how to build them. I know those 'trashes' are no good for you but they're gold for others

I like Grohak, stealing the enemy turn meter in arena and usually either 1 hit kills the target or near it then right after that you AOE nuke the whole enemy team and it hits pretty good.

Warchief should be at the top of the list for fix/buff for the simple fact that they nerfed him when he was 'meh' to begin with (they called it a fix, it was a nerf...). Then he was put on a list of characters that received buffs, they did nothing more than move numbers around! Honorable mentions that definitely need a touch up are Krypt-King Graal, Harvest Jack, Cillian the Luck, Lugan the Steadfast & Shamrock. There are some 'ok' qualities to be found with these champions, but their kits are a complete mess. Plarium must have picked from a bucket of random skills to throw against the wall when creating them!

I only have Wurlim out of these 12 and he was my very first legendary, so of course I have built him up :( so little did I know back then.

I would be perfectly happy to pull a wurlim. I was a part of the battle pass but I didn't spend the money to get the gold rewards. I could really see wurlim being used in my spider team as well as dragons and fire knight. Though i might also think dang it i wish it was a seer.

I like Drokgul but I would certainly love to see him buffed. But otherwise I agree. Ash did a video with Grohak and he was 1 shotting people in the arena with his A3, but the rest of his kit hits like a wet noodle. But I agree on all accounts. Bombs with war mother are great IF you have another bomb champ so warmother can detonate and IF the enemy doesn't have immunity gear and IF the enemy isn't a high resist team. Since you want to stack loads of attack on the bomb champ, but that means your accuracy won't be crazy high for the arena.

Thank you for putting Baron in there. He is my first, and ONLY, void legendary pulled from shards. I built him up, and he's just not good. He's outperformed by many epic champs that have more versatility in their kit. #BuffBaron

I'm so glad you mentioned Wurlim Frostking. People on the discords keep saying he slaps and he just doesn't!

Var-Gall's passive has a synergy with Rotos's a2. Rotos massively reduces max hp. If var-gall places the provoke on that target, it will then attack him and end up witt true fear. Point is, it doesn't matter who reduces max hp.

There are certain buffs and debuffs that work far better on mobs than they do with player teams, simply because of the way that mobs have more HP and do less damage than PCs. So like deflect damage is rubbish on one of your own champions, but on a mob, you can wind up one shotting one of your own team (Yannica is a frequent victim of this for me). Likewise, bombs are far more dangerous when they're thrown at you by a mob than they are against them because of relative HP and everything. And this is why War Mother and War Chief are so dismal when you pull them.

Glad all my champs made the list. First void lego I ever pulled was visix, last 2x I pulled baron. I got sick of my luck and finished the arbiter missions so that I had one good void lego. -MourningSage

War Mother is one of the champs I don't worry about in the arena, even if she is booked and assended, I look at her the same way as any other champion. :(

The way I feel like Visix should be: A1 should be 15% per hit. A2 should be aoe decrease speed and ally protect. A3 should be aoe provoke and shield proportional to defence on herself. Basically switching the shield and the ally protect and adding a little bit more turn meter manipulation to the A1. This should not make her too overpowered. Any comments?

Love my mortu macaab, in this counter attack meta, his secret peril is guaranteed i run him with duchess seeker, umbral enchantress g4 lvl 60. The only rework he needs i think is his A1.

Glad u mentioned Baron, my only void Lego pull and he's absolutely terrible. Like you said he's clearly arena focused. He only has a "chance" to unlock an aoe but let's face it, with his stats and speed your lucky to get a turn and no way you're getting a second turn. Oh and look I also have an errol. He's a single target nuker without block revive which means he's useless. If I didn't pull shit Legos I wouldn't pull any.

Mortu should just get provoke in A2 which should synergize with his passive. A1, I don't know. Maybe put veil on somebody? So basically make him the target and again synergize with passive. And all dmg should scale to hp only. Agree on Visix, A2 should have turn meter decrease like 30%. The ally protect with shield scaling with defense. Agree on Baron too. Men you should be at the developers side :)

Grohak fully booked is actually great for faction wars. He's still trash, but the steal turn meter on a 4 turn cooldown is huge for the boss.

Astralith has to be on this list. I would take almost every single one of the 12 legos on this list over her. She is pretty much irrelavent in all areas of the game. And her rebalancing buff from September didn't even work. Her bombs still get resisted even though they can't be... interesting.

Agree on Wurlim too. Just multipliers. And yeah why is gurgo a void champ but doesn't really feel like a lego not on the list. Well, yeah he freezes and strips random buff which is kinda cool but I don't know, he doesn't hit hard.

Ive faught mortu where he's procd fiery rage every time. It can be unbelievably good.

here is my list of legendary champ : - Astralith (she still need some better buff to be a real arena champ, give her +32% speed arena aura, and 4 bombs instead of 2… the only way to kill someone in the arena with her is with A3/passive if you're lucky enough) - Wurlim the the frosted vault king - Vault king Graal - bystophus - Mortu macaab (another vault king) - Mountain king (yeah i know… he used to be good… he used to be… and damn dwarf need help for faction wars, i got him yeah his A2 can do a lot of damage, but he's fast as a turtle and no AOE) - Gurptuk the moss beard (i know for ultra whale he's useful but damn you need 4 legos to make him interesting, not one, not two… but 4=) - Warchief (one of the worst provoke champ) - Teela - Grohak - Warmother - Khoronar (he just need a 2 turn provoke or a 3 turn to make him awesome) - Robar and Soulless (just need to get a better speed like 99 or more to be really useful)

Baron was my first legendary, it was kind of disappointing. My second one was candraphon when he was garbage. Candraphon got buffed, now I'm happy using him smacking down the arena, I really hope Baron follows the same path. That idea of making his A2 AoE is actually pretty good.

I use Warmother in a crazy relentless set and she does amazing.

I've been saying for the longest time that bombs should have aoe splash damage (10%~15% of the damage inflicted from the original target) AND ignore DEF.

I think you have to review these champs in context of other champions in their faction because it makes or breaks their utility for Faction Wars which is becoming more and more important. E.g. Grohak is actually underrated in my opinion because he brings that TM control in Orcs which is otherwise lacking. Teela on the other hand brings a Leech which Orcs don't need as they already have one of the best healers in the game (Vrask).

Krypt_king feels way worse then some in here! He got replaced in my Clanboss team, he got replaced in my faction wars team since he deals no dmg and only his aura is useful and he's potentially fine for spider but not without an aoe hp burn he can prolong.

Wurlim is not a support champion. He is defence based nuker ( or he should be ), so i would love to see plarium changing his a3 like You said. Throw away one buff ( inc. Def could stay)and give him extra turn after using this skill. Also he need to do more dmg with his skills. Then he will be a beast.

Rotos is still strong as hell; Better than 80% of other Legendaries and one of those you mentioned overshadowing Errol. Baron does need a buff though. Lord Cumfart, Belanor, Elenaril and Shamrock should be on your list, they tried buffing 3 of those but they're still not good.

Belanor AI also needs fixing. After the buff, he doesn't use his A3 (The surplus damage one) skill at all in auto mode.

Mortu-Macaab is one of the best arena block revive champs if paired with fast revivers like Siphi or Raglin, or even Cardinal with refresh jewelry or a frenzy set on. He gets hit a bunch of times, then dies, gets revived and smacks the most annoying target for good. I use him in a Taunting set since Peril is unlocked every time he gets hit, not when he gets a turn. He can single-handedly wipe teams with heavy shields (Valks, Krisks, Var-Galls with a shield set etc). Peril is a bit rng but once he's 'activated' it's a guaranteed kill. He needs absolutely no books and he's fine as he is. Love him.

i actualy pulled baron resently and was thinking that if he had passive that had 20% chance to unlock that attack every time he hits an enemy he could be good with retaliation set or in couter attack teams or someting ..... i leveled him up to 50 running dragon event and i think during whole time he unloked that attak like couple times before dragon was dead...

the moment I realized that 7 out of 10 legendaries i pulled in the last 3 month, are in this list ...

Richtoff the Bold certainly needs to be added to the list.
