Few days ago we wrote on discord together and i managed to get past 14auto with your exact team comp suggestion :) you saved me from this frustration for now i have many missions till ill get the missions for auto 17 and all of them are basically completed already just need to do some farm ones before it many awesome rewards awaiting me thx alot again :)

Really good video, nice to see several strats instead of just one. Gives us options based on our roster.

Looks like your Tayrel is faster than your Ghostborn (he's going before seer vs ghostborn going after). That means you are getting your first turn faster (which means everyone elses speed including spider boss hasn't filled up as much). From that point on, turn meter increases after the first turn, go in fixed increments "steps" until the next champion gets a full bar, and if multiple bars are full, there's a mechanism to see who has more overfilled TM. The key point here is, EVERYONE gets another step of TM before the calculation checks who's turn is next. There's a reddit post that discusses this topic specifically for Arena but it applies to everywhere. I'll have to find it later to send. Case 1 with Ghostborn: - When the spider boss is taking its turn, you'll notice it has TM fully filled whereas RG has not, so no competition, he goes before RG. Step back to first turn, and you'll see during first Seer's turn, all 3 of Ghostborn and RGs are all full TM, so they already reached full and everyone will get a "step" (including boss). The problem is this TM increase is wasted for RGs, but not for spider boss. Case 2 with Tayrel: - On last turn, you'll notice RGs and spider boss are both filled, meaning there overflow logic kicked in. In this particular case, having your 1st champ faster and go earlier changed the spacing of turns. Pause during Tayrel's first turn and you'll see that RGs are NOT full yet, but Seer is. That means during the next step, both RGs and spider boss are gaining TM. The difference is, the RGs weren't full and it's a useful gain relatively speaking if that makes sense. EDIT: The overflow / step mechanism is the reason why you'll notice, especially in Arena and spider when multiple champs are full TM that it isn't always who reached full TM first. Because there's always a "step" after a turn based on their current speeds, to see who goes next. So assuming we need 1000 TM for a turn, and if champ A reached is 1000 TM, and champ B is 999 TM, champ C is 998 TM. The natural order you would think is A, B, C. However if champion C speed is 2 points faster than champ B (say 102 to 100), it'll leapfrog it because after champ A's turn, everyone gets a step and B and C have 1099 and 1100 TM respectively and C goes next.

Edit : seriously credit HellHades for my thought process and champs planning for Spiders 19 & 20. And also StewGaming long ago for the Zephy Sniper video that helped me jump from 14-18. That little edge for 19 and 20 was provided by Hellhades our man here. Perfect timing. I just managed to clear Spider 20 today and your video comes up! I got 2 methods. Perfect Spider guide too! Most comprehensive guide I have ever watched Kinda cheese 1st method : Lyssandra (5 stars only speed gears), Ignatius, Crypt King Graal, Tormin (stun sets, constantly attacking the spiderlings) Apocathery. 2nd method, I swap out Tormin for Coldheart. Both are 100% WR so far I tested over 10 runs today. 1st method is pretty long. 4.30mins 2nd method is faster 1.45mins. Basically 1st method Tormin almost perma-freeze and stuns but probably not optimal yet since towards the end my guys start dying. 2nd method is faster because CH hits Heartseeker once for about 500k (no Def down or weaken in this comp). Both methods loads of champs die but important thing is Ignatius must cast his AOE burns twice on as many spiderlings as possible. If he casts it before he dies, game over for spider mother.

Been waiting on this forever. Gonna build my ult galek for this with cold heart, bellower lyssandra and skullcrusher. Only prob now should be gear and maxing my champs. Wish books were easier to get. Once more, Much appreciated!

Thank you Hades! I actually have majority of the characters and I was able to jump 2 levels in spider and now I am at 19, I used the HP burn method and it got me thru lvl 17 and 18 which I didn't think it was ever possible. Again thank you for this video, it helped me tremendously.

Another great video. I am stuck on spider 17, I use 1 Paragon 2 cold hearts, 1 Royal guard and 1 Tayrel and clear stage 16 in about 2 mins 30 seconds, but I have to do it on manual. I have tried Adding Renegade to try and clear stage 17 but no joy, the spiderlings don't attack Paragon. Anyway, I will get there in the end. Keep up the great videos.

I did spider 20 a bit differently. I used 5 magic champions: tayrel , apothecary, big un, royal guard and kael. The spiderlings where attacking tayrel as he had the least HP and high def. He was getting 35% weak hits and with heals from apoth he was able to stand still. Big un was for turn meter reduction, slow and some spiderlings killing. I used kael only because I didn't have any other magic champ with lvl 60. Every run took 3-5 min.

Yeah Freaking give up .. .lol.. I have spent 10s of hours 1000s of energy and millions of silver to try to change my team around different ways to make this work. I've tried every strategy short of just setting up my 3 CHs for nuke. I guess that's the way I'll go because the aoe burn and the off aff tank doesn’t work with what I got I guess.. LOve your videos.. they are the best I've seen and i've been playing raid and watching raid videos pretty much since the game has been out. Thanks!!!

Your the MAN. Thank you. I used one of your team comp (the idea, not the champs) to auto Spider 20 and finally get my Arbiter. This is the most comprehensive video on beating spider that I have ever seen. The other guys who do these videos are good too (chofly mobile, stewgaming, salt, etc), but THIS video takes the cake. Not sure why I understood yours so much easier then the other spider guides out there, but I think it was explaining what each champ on the team focuses on. I was able to substitute my own available champs in and done........thanks again. This one knocks it out of the park. Fantastic job. Keep em coming.....!

Thx for that video. Laid spider 20 today for the first time with Sinesha team as shown in your video, except that I used CH and RG instead of two CHs. I am really happy, 'cause Arbiter is only 7 mission points away and if RNG does like me (I believe not :-) ), the last two spider missions could be done. Now it's only FK to beat. IG is still anything else than safe but works at least sometimes. Well done, HH! Edit: all next tries did fail, though nothing changed. So, RNG does not like me. I knew.

omg the kind of video i needed been trying with spider so much i did have a nice spider team set up for it and its like 80% success rate so nice to see better ways i could do it using the tormin/ulti galek method for the hp burns + freeze/stuns currently :)

The new CC paradigm ++ Landed on what looks like a 100% success rate comp for spider 20 with MM, Ult galek, Coldheart, Skartorsis & Mme Serris. Happens to kill the spiderlings right before she sucks them up almost every time in a 2:30 min run. Pretty lucky

Got Sinesha on a blue shard from the market yesterday and Drake from another this morning. I pulled nearly 10 during the event last week and only got Marksman as my only epic. Since then 2 of 3 were epics and one was really good. Now I am that much more psyched to have gotten Sinesha.

you can also use a negative affinity tank that is actually an tank. like skartorsis or Rhazin in LS-gear. with some support they can survive the spiderlings pretty well. thats probably more something for an Ultimete-galek comp where you use an arbiter/gorgorab anyway for the atk buff so they can also revive the red tank. and rhazin also can place that decrease def/weaken even if not 100%.

Well really have to tip my hat off to you sir! Was stuck on level 15 spider for months with AoE strat, havin' no Coldheart or any other superduper champs mentioned here, except Miscreated and Kattun/Apo. After watching this: Went tanky, with a team able to land three debuffs on the spider - and took Elder Skarg with me. Walk-thru from 15 to 20 without any problem. Totally underestimated, how HP burn and CCed spiderlings melt this beast away. Now I only need Armiger and Seer for insta-runs.😅 P. S.: My team atm, optimized for Arena with low def, not that perfect gear and not even fully booked: Minaya (no books), Scyl (4 books), Frozen (fully booked), Elder (fully booked), Miscreated (2 books). Time: 1:48 min, 90 % success chance.

I have scartorsis,ultgalek,tormin,witch,nethril doing spiders20 on auto under 3 minutes it took me 8 hours to get the team comp just right and it consistently completes 20 on auto under 3 minutes I'm super happy Great vid btw !

Awesome video, but if you have the time could you do a series where you take each role of the spider team and discuss top two mid two and beginners , many examples here are not for "beginners" ie no Bad Al I hear Reliquary is very good but it looks like spirit host might be better, my point is to explain why one is better then others. Or just honorable mention for beginners lol Thanks keep up the great job this game is addicting.

amazing video like always but u missed one comp that I'm using ... I call it the poison comp : mainly I use 2 poisoners ,Apothecary for the speed ,Elenaril ,and vizier ... as long as I manage to stack 30 poisons ,elenaril can use combust for an instant kill ..... hardly manageable on auto tho :(

I used cupidus aoe tank(built in hp burn) you don't need opposite affinity to do it if all the others are magic or void. To trigger the hp burn he just needs to kill a spiderling, you can target on auto and then go back to boss. If you got miscreated monster you can faceroll this fight,also ultimate galek the new amazon champ is awsome for the later stages.

Hoping this will help me get past spider 15 by using parts of these strats. Good vid

A few really good spider champs that you didn't mention: Rockbreaker in a lifesteal set is an amazing tank. Defense-based champ. AoE 1-turn provoke + 2-turn counterattack on a 3-turn cooldown, 50% chance to take 50% less damage. I don't even think the provoke is necessary if you gear your champs correctly? Renegade for her 2-turn cooldown boost - similar to Kymar. Give her accuracy to drop the spider's turn meter on her second attack with evil eye. Paragon in the lead will make him place Unkillable on himself, which gives you 2 free turns. The new Stag Knight for AoE attack and defense down and potential 30% speed reduction on A1 (his second turn). Madame Serris for AoE attack and defense down also.

Btw, that means to fix it, you just need to increase your Ghostborn speed a little (so he's not too close to RGs speed), then you should be able to use Ghostborn instead of Tayrel with same results.

Again thanks so much for this video! Already did 18. Now I believe I am stuck at 19 (did nit try yet but it’s red) and for 20 will have to wait till I fuse Rhazin for a tank. Cheers

The turn meter weirdness has to do with the way raid prepared the first round of a fight. There is some automatic turn meter filling for everyone and then the speed of everyone’s champs will determine the order of play. Until that first champ gets a turn, everyone’s turn meters get filled with a combination of their own speed and then something like a first round turn meter fill. Since your Tyrael is faster than anyone else on the nuking team, him getting his first move causes the weird first round turn meter fill set up to stop just a bit earlier. That allows your speedy royal guards to have just a fraction of a bit more time to act, which gives them a second action before the spider’s first action.

Was stuck and didn't think to put Miscreated monster in the comp. Went from stage 14 to 17 he's awesome thanks for the advice 👌

I wasn't able to destroy higher Spider until I got Drexthar which allowed me to create a protect the Drexthar team that can kill higher Spider. Its not exactly a quick team but its a consistent one!

Use Skullcrown to take the hits from the little spiders. Her unkillable saves her and lifesteal gear is needed.

Love the video. The problem is to get to 20 first 🤣 still stuck on stage 13 here

So the only way I've been able to consistently beat spider 20 is using my strongest character a force affinity Fu-Shan and geared him with both hp chest (close to 50K HP) and around 250 resistance and then shielding him with Miscreated Monster and using both a Cold Heart and Armiger with a Scyl of the Drakes to support them I'd say it only fails about 1 or 2 times every 30 or so I've been happy with it. This gives me a few other ideas and I finally understand why everyone was making a big deal about the HP burn skills didn't realize it worked like that when it is an AOE. I didn't even realize it was a strategy until I saw the spiders only focusing him even though the rest of my team could've easily been killed by them.

Skartosis, crypt king, venus, cupidus and valkyrie works wonders on manual. not fast. 2.5-3 minutes. but is a 95% chance of winning. i thnk i failed 2 times sinces i started doing it. ofc when comes to auto. i dont rememeber what set up i had. But for those willing to manual it. this setup works. and if do everything auto...when actually play ? :-)

the reason your royal guard could go is because the skill tree to allow turn meter turn on high damage chance is chosen.

At the moment I'm using Arbiter, Nethril, Maneater, Ultimate Galek and Rhazin Scarhide ("bait") for Spider 20. Your different setups gave me a new idea lol. I recently pulled my second Drexthar Bloodtwin and already wondered what to do with him (ofc I never would use a legendary as food but HP Burn doesn't stack, so two in a team are pointless). But I never thought about optimizing the second one for Spider and use him as bait to set even more Spiderlings on fire and speed things up... ;-) EDIT: I just tried it with my already maxed out Drex. It worked well but I completely missed the catch: Replacing Rhazin with Drex costs me a turn meter manipulator. All in all, the Rhazin setup seems to finish the spider off quicker. By one Minute, to be exact...

Honourable mention, if you are using the aoe burn strat then crypt lord graal can freeze everyone with burn 100% chance.

For Spider 20, I use counter attacking strategy using any Force tank with an AoE A1, Warmaster and life steal gear. Every time a spiderling hit my tank, he counter attack, dealing % HP damage to the Spiders through Warmaster and heal himself back to full. Pretty much making the fight a joke. The rest of my team is for Turn meter reduction, speed buff and debuff

(edit you said you'd show us 1 more team about stunning the spiders, but didn't after the provoke haha, was a funny cut). Also I noticed your Seer is faster than your Ghostborn, but Tayrel is faster on the other team. Try increasing your Ghostborn to be just faster than Seer and see if it makes any difference. I know it shouldn't but game is weird. By doing that you're making sure tayrel and ghostborn are on equal terms at least hmmm. I think there's some fancy turn meter shenanigans going on, because your Tayrel is faster.

There is one variance which i used to get through 20 wasnt 100% due to weak hits from rhazin (replacing with spider once leveled) but i went Ignatius maulie as resist tank rhazin into 2 ch note at time of doing this rhazin and Ignatius only ones with full masteries maulie none and 1 ch lvl 50 was able to clear before spider takes a turn was about 1/3 failed due to weak hits from either rhazin not appling debuffs or failing on reduce turn meter

Have you tried Renegade? She is a Rare champ under Knight Reverant with an A3 that reduces the cooldown of all ally skills by 2. This greatly reduces the turn around on your nukes.

Amazingly timely for me... all dungeons at 20 or 19 except spider... I'm only farming 15 (but can kill up to 17 on manual).

i play for like 74 days - so just on stage 12 right now - using Apo , Kael , Ghostborn , Prince Kymar and Cold H

You clicked on Psylar but called her Lua...in the beginning. And you've totally skipped over Psylar's A3 (30% dec. Spd debuff & dec. TM of all by 40%) Psylar is an excellent Epic champion

I just realized that crypt king graal pairs really well with ignatius. I never used him cause his rating is so shitty. But actually they're a dope team. Also nice because you don't actually need or should book the crypt king (it's all dmg on his freeze, so not worth)

Let's see if these advices get me trough 14 on auto the same as with CB advices :D
