I use to think he lacked vision. But I see why. His rookie year he just ran to the hole the play called for. But what your video shows, is the game has slowed down for him. And instead of slamming up into the called hole, he is exercising patience. The patience allows him to use his vision and see the hole that is open regardless of what hole the play was called for. One thing I hope he adds, is feeling the cut back lane. If he adds that, he will easily be a 1000 yard back.

Zamir White is going too had a better season that Ex-Raider Josh Jacobs watch out. When Jacobs was hurt watching from the sidelines Zamir step in and he took this job away from Jacobs because Zamir White was a monster out there tearing it up. Jacobs saw this and his time with our Raiders was done and gone.

He did well for the holes he had. He doesnt create very much at the line of scrimmage, but his patience is good, and his vision is decent. There's potential for sure, but has shown only moderate explosiveness in this reel. I will say the blocking was average at best, so I guess we'll see. He's more of a high volume bruiser with decent speed.

I remember watching Trent Richardson play and he would miss a mile wide hole every series. I have yet to see someone as bad. Good to see zues have good vision.

The offensive line had horrible run blocking. Almost every play, he either has a tiny hole to run through, or no hole at all. Their o-line was getting thrown around like rag dolls

Tip of the cap Alex for this video and the camera angles. Folks I came to see Zeus but left watching the holes by Mumford and Parham. Watch these two on combo blocks. On one play completely wiped out chris Jones. Look at these two violently smash fools on opposing teams. Makes sense why you move Parham to right guard.

For a highlight reel, he doesn't look too good.
@almo5086Ай бұрын
It’s because he isn’t that good. Very little wiggle, strong but not powerful, poor vision and lacks an awareness. At least that’s all he showed up until the final four games. Then he somehow started looking decent. I’d guess 800 yards this season.
@SteadyMo66inАй бұрын
If you thought you were gonna see a true highlight reel, you're slow af. He don't have nowhere near enough carries or receptions to even put a video together
@SteadyMo66inАй бұрын
@almo5086 it's because a RB is only as good as their OL. Josh Jacob's is a good RB but he's had terrible games because all that skill means nothing if there's nowhere to run
@j.olacio5298Ай бұрын
Steadyslobbin if you don't think what he's s done in the last two 2yrs, isn't enough to put a highlight reel together. You need to stop the slobbin and come up for air once in awhile.

He needs big holes to make good runs. He doesn't have great speed, not able to juke defenders, basically a downhill runner. For a back that has good size, he can be taken down by one defender 95% of the time, he does have a good stiff arm though. Hopefully the Oline opens up some big holes for him or Laube turns out to be a gem.
@kaihlenjamison918Ай бұрын
I think you’re confusing speed with elusiveness and lateral quickness bc he runs 4.4 so he’s still pretty fast

@vincelopez884419 күн бұрын
He strong but he just not fast at all, if the blocking is good he will run good but if the o line gets owned in a game by a good DT the run game is cooked. I like zamir as a good redzone rb but we need someone shifty and fast to complement zamir, like the lions they have a good combo a true thunder and lightning run game.
