I well remember the three Super Bowl Championships. Super Bowl XI in Pasadena in January of 1977, Oakland 32, Minnesota 14 Super Bowl XV in New Orleans in January of 1981, Oakland 27, Philadelphia 10 Super Bowl XVIII in Tampa in January of 1984, Los Angeles 38, Washington 9 I recall these games and other great Raider victories like the 1976 AFC Championship demolition of the Steelers or the 1977 Ghost to the Post sudden death playoff win over the Baltimore Colts and, in my opinion, the greatest Raider win of them all, in the greatest football game I have ever seen, the Sea of Hands victory in December of 1974 against the two time defending Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins by a score of 28-26. Stabler to Clarence Davis as Miami’s Vern Den Herder was literally tackling Stabler...a heart stopping win for the ages...greater than even their Super Bowl victories and certainly FAR more exciting. Just win baby.

If I had to choose between the Raiders combined superbowl wins over this, I would choose this win over the Texans because this was not only a victory, but the fact that they won for an individual (Al Davis) that contributed alot to the NFL.
