experience is key here for Raila which works to his advantage. If you have been following keenly, they are now talking of recognizing experience in awarding academic credentials. Raila has been in charge of infrastructure for Africa meaning this AU chairmanship is a promotion so to speak. Also, we need to remember that Raila has fought for many years to become president of Kenya but for whichever reasons he has not succeeded. So, attempting the AU way is not a bad thing. My attitude is, if he wins, good for him and Kenya but if he doesn't, Home is best. Kenya still need him. He has nothing to loose in trying. Lastly, there is no constants in politics except Interests. Raila is a kenyan like most of us. Let's wish him the best and leave the consequences to God.

The most urgent issue that need sorting out is flexing the free movent of African citizens across the continent freely without hinderences. This will have unbeliveable huge positive impact to the economy of Africa. Secondly, there is need for a robust infracture connecting the South to North, East to West. This will be a game changer. The other issues will fall in place and Africa shall automatically find a meaniful stragic place in worlds econonomic front.
