But, but, Rorick is #1238... Anyway, I like that you've included other factors of N&W history into a similar diesel replacement story, such as 611's wreck in 1956. I'll be watching the next part(s) because it looks like you're planning to tell the end of steam story and I want to see it if that's the case. I know you've asked for critiques in the past so if you're interested here's some notes I have from watching it the first time. First, I like the pacing, nothing ever seems like it's taking too long to happen. Some of the tracking shots towards the beginning might have been a bit long, but it seemed to resolve itself by the end. A couple notes on the music. In some scenes, the music level drowned out a lot of the other sounds. It was prevalent in some of the dialogue scenes. I know from experience that you might not be able to turn up the dialogue volume without noticeable audio clipping, but what you might try is turning the music volume down to serve as background. I know that in some scenes, it's the music that you want the audience to focus on, and in those cases it's fine to let it be a bit louder. In the scenes where dialogue is the most important, I always try to make sure it's louder than any soundtrack. This next thing isn't a big issue really, just something that happened once. Music with abrupt beginnings may benefit from being faded in rather than just started immediately. I jumped from my seat when Legends of the Rails started. Otherwise, many other things look very good so far. I liked a lot of the camera angles, and the tracking shots of 611 at the beginning were very nice. I think you have a good number of N&W characters right now. There aren't so few that you feel like the entire plot relies on a single engine, but there aren't so many that you get lost in the names. As I said earlier, I'll be keeping an eye out on this one. Also I'll voice a cameo if you want.

I've always been a fan of trying to string together various continuities, although in this case there's a potentially-giant plot hole: Rorick's last trip took place in July of 1953 according to the last-seen date marker in Psychosis, and he became a helper-only locomotive starting in June of 1953. Everything goes downhill quickly-enough from the last date marker that there isn't a need for one, judging just from day-night switches, all events from the last timestamp until the end could have taken place in as little as 4 days. Mental health doesn't exactly degrade at a constant rate either.
