Railways of Le Chatelard

15 жыл бұрынFilmed in 2007, this video shows the wonderful railways of Le Chatelard in Switzerland, just across the border from France and Mont Blanc. The funicular and railway were built for the construction of Hydro dam in 1920 which was enlarged and replaced by a new dam in 1973. The surrounding area became the Chatelard Attractions Park. The railways are operated by the Trains Touristiques d'Emossons SA. Surely one of the most spectacular railways in the world and well worth a visit.

Hi, I think Liseli is a standard 20hp Jung with a parallel boiler. It's a beautiful little engine and kept in excellent condition.
