Rain Bird LG-3 Mini-Paw Pop-Up Impact Sprinklers

In a recent effort to revamp our front yard, I have decided to install two Rain Bird LG3 Mini-Paw sprinklers. I will do a more in-depth video of this either this weekend or next week. Let me know if you guys want to see more of these videos, as we will be installing Rain Bird 2045A Maxi-Paw impact sprinklers in the backyard in the coming weeks.

Here one thing you can do to help the impact work better is that you can adjust the spring so it can work better in low water pressure.

Thank you for your advice. I adjusted the springs on both and they are working much better now.

Where my parents live theres a lot of these around, usually these or maxi paws. although some still have those spoon drive orbit satellites.

Nice! I don’t see too many of these around here. Most are Hunter sprinklers.

Did you use 1/2 inch tubing in the ground for the sprinklers

It would be nice to have these in the LG3HE, but the main issue with the LG3HE is that it would be a hassle to try to drag the garden hose to connect these from time to time in order to water the whole yard. The 32ETI was very close to what I needed but the rotors that comes with it falls short of their distance of my yard. Did you happen to tweak your system to where the mini paws go all at once? I’d like to have either of these in my yard because I can’t install a traditional irrigation system due to building code restrictions, and I’d rather have the system be connected to a garden hose instead of my water main coming into the house.

These are the LG3HE, I just modified it to where I could have the hose inlet in a centralized location and then it tees off to go to the mini paws

Hopefully that won’t happen with mine for a long time. They were just installed this past spring.
