Rain City Redemption: Episode Three - Part One (Remastered)

5 жыл бұрынDespite missing the playoffs with another 7-9 record, Seattle‘s young defensive foundation showed promise in 2011. Heading into 2012, Pete Carroll and John Schneider set out to find Seattle's final piece to the puzzle: a franchise quarterback. Seattle signed Matt Flynn to a three-year $26M contract and many believed the Seahawks finally had their guy. When Seattle selected Russell Wilson with the 75th overall pick, everything shifted. The selection left many questioning Seattle's front office. Despite Flynn's contract and plenty of criticism surrounding his decision, Pete Carroll decided to start his newly acquired 5'11" quarterback in Week 1 against the Cardinals. And thus began a new era in Seattle.

I was super excited when we got Wilson. I knew he had to continue to improve but I always thought he had tremendous talent and not to mention the perfect attitude for a Pete Carroll led Hawks team. They are about as perfect of a coach/QB combo as Brady and belechick. Except they seem to compete with alot more Joy. Wilson will go down in the history books as one of the best.

YO wtf IM a Giants fan(which is a current shame to admit; FIRE GETTLE/SHURM) but somehow while I was watching the current heads of NFL/sports talk I accidentally came across this doc/series and spent my whole afternoon watching it. The way this team was put together(Pete/JohnS/LOBOOM/RUSSEL); fascinating stuff. As epic as the story leading up to the SB win, also is as epic as NOT GIVING MARSHAWN THE BALL(not to mention of demise of LEGION OF BOOM by letting so and so go) so I wish they continue with this documentary/series cuz the story is still has so much juice to spill!

I think this stuff fascinates us bcuz our Organization has gotten so inept and clueless over the past 7-8 years that we like watching how other teams put winners together. I hope they make a Documentary about us a few years from now like this. It most definitely won't involve Betcher or Shermur lol. Amen.

I was there with my father on the night of the Fail Mary. What an amazing moment in that crowd. Not a single person in the stadium knew we robbed the Packers. The electricity and chaos was amazing. The packers fans were hear broken around us. It was insane.

This team is so lucky, and so blessed, to have Russell as it's starting QB. 2019 is going to be an incredible season, and I am predicting a year which sees Russ get his first League MVP, and he should lead the 'Hawks to another NFC Championship. I see the Super Bowl being between the Chiefs and the Seahawks. The tagline will be: the 2019 MVP vs the 2018 MVP! Go 'Hawks!

Amazingly put together! The first football game I ever watched was a Seahawks game and I’ve never seen a more exciting team. It was amazing. This reminded me why I love my Seahawks so much.

Thank you for this series. Every time I doubt myself in life, I will watch what they said about Russell Wilson, doubting his ability in the NFL, and that at best he'd be a solid backup QB. I commented earlier but I wanted to say my uncle lays in a hospital bed a lifelong hawks fan wondering if he gets to come home. This series of videos gave us in a nutshell the beauty of being a fan of the game. Before he went to the hospital I was his caregiver for 8 years and every moment you shared and put together we shared together.
