Ethan Kinsey more precisely I think, is that unlike with a delay pedal, the articulation is more clearly defined when Its a person playing the decays, and not a processor throwing the sound back at you.

Rob. I’m currently in the military and I am enjoying every moment of it. I love the aspect of all that could go wrong sometimes does. But this song struck me deep in my heart. Made me think about what my life is and is going to be. I just thought that you should know that your music literally brought tears to me here in this song. I don’t know if you’ll even read this but I just want to say, thank you. You made me call my family and tell them how much I miss them and care for them, even if they can be a bit rough sometimes ;) most of us take what we have for granted and don’t realize what we have until it is gone.In all seriousness, please. Don’t stop making music like this

What a cool idea. I even noticed, don’t know if this was on purpose but the guy in the middle has a cutaway I guess to be a lil bit quieter than U, then the guy in the back has a nylon string guitar to be even quieter. Most people wouldn’t even attempt this or give up cause they couldn’t get it right.

The beginning of the song is intentionally quieter. Rob says it himself in his lesson of this song. The further the song gets, the louder the song gets (for the most part) which requires higher strumming.

This video inspired me to write this poem: Our Blue Day We frolic under a vast blue sky This next part is cliche as hell, I’m happier when it’s just me and you. All our problems are in the rearview. Just running around with no clue. I don’t care what’s true… Her favorite color is Azure. Yup, here it is again the color blue. But who cares we’re still on the move. Our lucky numbers are 2 and 1 Oh my God have I won?! Hey, I’ll throw it out there and it’ll come back to me. I ain’t lonely. We’re feelin’ free. Time to mention us again - I’m happy it’s you and me. This blind man sees. Welcome to my country of insanity. Yo, there’s a lot of reverb… Your voice echoes in my head. Has there been enough said? Nope. Thanks, Rob Scallon, it’s raining on my sunny day. I just wanted to run and play. Don’t understand why you stay. I’m just a Mr. Mime in love with spoken verse, There goes my dream career- Hey, hold my beer I gotta catch that hearse That’s where I left my girl’s purse. It is the only one that matches her pearls. God damn it! She’s my everything in this blue world. Thank you for igniting my creativity ;)

The acoustic guitar just adds that extra layer to the song that makes it that much more beautiful

I know it’s been a long time since u put this up but as a musician, this is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. I love messing around with different delay timings. Great job man. Just pure awesomeness

when he first came out with this song , a little while after my group won a CD from him, i did learn how to do this song with delay, fun as hell and still play it till today. if Rob still did more songs like this itd be dope that being said having 3 guitarist run this and not get effed up with timing is insane

This is amazing. I understand why it took 60 tries! It's so hard to not hear the other people playing and catch up to whatever they're doing. SUPER nice work!
