Matthew (and Griffin) are a hard act to follow. Matthew showed a real gift for narrating these stories. They'll be missed. Yeah, his unexplained departure is odd. But it's not our business. Let's give Adrian a chance to grow into the job.

I really appreciate all the videos on this channel. Change can be hard and we are not owed ANY explanation. Everything is changing nothing stays the same except Our Lord. I hope we can all realize that and appreciate the gifts of these videos for what they are. God's will be done.

Well said! I know we all got attached to Matthew and Griffin, and would have liked a farewell. But as you say, he does not actually owe it to us. I think we all need to stop feeling entitled to it, and try to embrace the change. It’s like we’re Don Bosco’s complaining children, lol! And what would he say to such children?😉

It's clear that this new host is putting in a ton of effort into his new role. He said he doesn't have access to the outdoor locations that Matthew had, but I can tell he's trying his hardest by making all of the wonderful cg backgrounds. They do an excellent job of setting the mood for the stories. It's different from Mathew, but I think it's just as good. And it's not like Adrian kicked Matherew out or anything, Adrian was given this assignment and is doing his best! Let's listen, and not judge.

The issue here is not Adrian's quality. The problem is that Matthew left WITHOUT any explanation and another host took his place.

That is exactly correct. It is difficult to move forward when Matthew’s absence has not been addressed properly and it would have been better had Matthew said his goodbyes so that his audience could move forward peacefully. At present, it feels unresolved, and frankly, very uncatholic 🤔

@@maxalexander3354 , It isn’t about the benefit of the doubt, it’s good business practice and this is a business. They want you to follow their site , listen to their videos , and donate to their cause. In life and in business, when there is a transition , one signs off and another one comes on in that place. There is a continuity that flows from one leaving to another person taking his place. That courtesy was not done and should have been done, especially by a Catholic organization. Catholics, I would think, would strive for the higher ground. They are lacking the proper etiquette when transitioning to a new host.

I think the best that this channel should do is to post an apology letter for the unexpected transition. Maybe even a video with Matthew and Adrian together. Let the viewers know that they are valued and hope to continue supporting their channel. This would appease them.

I don’t think that is fair, judge not as to be judged, what ever the reason Matthew has moved on, this young man is spreading devotion to Saint John Bosco let’s give him a chance that is what Matthew would what as he was a good catholic also for no one is more important than Christ.
