I have a similar room that looks out on dogwoods and redbuds in the spring. Two big differences: windows are not arched and my fireplace and hearth are marble. I think a wooden hearth would be scorched. Of course the windows make this room. I am trying to resist the temptation to knock my windows out and duplicate this scene. Good night.

The rain is too large. The rain physics are great. Outside has a higher resolution than inside. Lighting from fire is well done. I especially like that the candle and fire case their own separate and changing light. The fire is very well done. The audio is very well done, it fits the setting perfectly. The lightning effect isn't good at all: a lightning strike right there in the garden would create a tremendous boom. Overall very good work.
