- After her new loved one got eaten from the inside and reanimated by a DLL, Artificer invades Five Pebbles and Garbage Wastes in order to commit genocide on The Rot. - Many cycles later, Five Pebbles thanks the Artificer for her help, thinking that Artificer did it because she wanted to help him. - Artificer does not seem to be listening.

I love it. I especially love the fact the Hunter’s body moving after being hit shows that Artificer will die or potentially have to strike Hunter down again. This is the maximized bad ending; Artificer lives long enough to see Hunter transform and thinks they stuck down Hunter’s rot interested corpse but they didn’t. Allowing for a surprise attack that will likely kill Artificer and Artificer has just enough time to start processing that they just killed Hunter.

Did you know? Hunter long legs is immune to explosive spears in the sense they don’t instantly kill them! It’ll certainly down them for a second or two, so if you aren’t aware you might assume it was an instant kill like it would be to a BLL or DLL :] So. Well. Yeah.

A detail I really like is how it is implied the explosive spear didn't really kill Hunter since they still move just before the animation ends. In game, Hunter long legs isn't instakilled by explosives like most rot creatures are, and can survive several explosive spears.

Well done, ngl The Hunter story is probably one of saddest story of the game, the rot is terrifying, even trespassing the rules of the world and letting you out of the cycle for some reason

It doesn’t let you out of the cycle. That’s what’s terrifying. Hunter is still very much conscious.

@@Poorly-drawn-Fox Spoilers "Like sleep like death, you wake up again whether you want to or not" "Know that it does not make you special, every living being shares that same frustration" The Cycle is the force that does not let you die, whenever the player dies, he restarts the game from the place he last time slept, canonically this works for every creature in the world, essentially granting them Immortality, but trapping them in a cycle of constant suffering waking up and rebirthing, for example, The Hunter is basically forced to relive being born, suffer from his disease and then dying over, and over, and over. This is why ancient civilization tried to find a way to escape this cycle. You should really check Rain World lore videos if you're not planning to play the game.

God where do I even start? The animation and concept for this is INCREDIBLE, not to mention how well the rot and such was animated!!! This is top tier, props to everyone who animated! The song also fits scarily well, especially the lyrics. That one part where the spear evidently exploded and killed Hunter at the very end is CHILLING

To be fair, any form of rot is notoriously difficult to kill. Even with explosives. She atleast probably put Hunter out of their misery prior.

HLLs only have 50 HP (half the HP of a BLL) and have the same explosion weakness as DLLs & BLLs

KZfaq has been recommending me individual parts for this MAP since before I even joined the Rain World fandom and it's honestly one of the things that convinced me to check it out. Seeing it all finally come together is like some kind of catharsis.... It's great, amazing, love it. Me and my wife were watching at the premier together and I almost cried. There is so much love in these slugcats and these artists and this community! Artihunter! Love wins!

I'M GENUINELY SOBBING. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite MAPs now!! Everything is so well done and everyone did an amazing job! The entire ending after Hunter gets turned gave me CHILLS. The scene of Arti backing away and shaking their head in disbelief, the entire ending was just phenomenal

I have seen random parts for this MAP for MONTHS, from before I bought Rain World to now, when I am obsessed with anything to do with it. It seemed constant, something that would never be finished. Yet here it is. The first thing I see on my recommended, forcing me to take a second to process it, before watching what I have eagerly anticipated for months... The video just ended, and this better than anything I could have hoped for. I typically don't ship characters, and always opposed that in the Rain World community, but this has changed my mind. The animation, the way it matches the music, the tragic story it all tells, it is all perfect.

It's not even noon, I do not need to be crying this much. But anyways, this whole map as a whole is incredible. I love all the ways the two were represented in different styles, and it's really cool seeing my favorite animators next to new ones i've never seen. I for some reason I love how Yellowl portrayed Arti's explosive jump, a really nice touch paired with a really good quality animation. I had been waiting for this map for so long, and I wake up, get on youtube, and it's at the top of my recommended. What a blessing. AND HOLY CRAP THE COUGHING THAT DARLIECHARLIE MADE. I swear it feels all too real when a person has been sick before. And maybe this will be the end of my essay. Probably gonna come up with more to say after the... 17th watch through.

I don't have enough words to describe how absolutely *amazing* this whole thing is! I've watched it a total of 12 times already, I think?? The animation, the effects, the lip syncing at just the right times- just- kudos to the animators and every single person who worked on this!!

this is one of the greatest maps i've ever seen. I'm almost at a loss for words, every part was SO WELL DONE and CREATIVE, from the relatively wholesome to the horrific they all executed their purpose SO WELL! and the bloopers at the end soothed all the emotional damage I willingly witnessed in this ❣yea my friends who don't play rain world are gonna be hearing about this....damn.... shout out to the part at 0:46 I've never seen animation like that in a MAP before! and it felt so playful 😊 and shout out to the part at 4:15 with the hunter long legs looking so NASTY and the strike arti delivers being off-screen 😔

I know absolutely nothing about RainWorld, but man, this was AWESOME!! I just clicked expecting a normal MAP with a song I love but instead got a superb story outta it!
