I forgot the level 10 karma ability existed until the void sea lol
Was far easier than hurricane mod, basically the only thing that made it harder than a regular survivor run was the getting instakilled by bites (which were usually easy to avoid because of the tongue being amazing). The no spears thing kept me pretty on edge because typically when I have a spear I consider myself safe, and it's impossible to have one as the saint.
By the way this is still version 1.01, the updated version of the mod is still in development and it is going to be awesome.
I think the biggest thing that made saint seem difficult was the losing all karma thing...

FOR ANYONE CONFUSED: This is an extremely early version of more slugcats that was made 5 years ago for version 1.01 of the game. Long before downpour was a thing. This is indeed the same saint from the downpour of today though! Since then, the mod has been massively expanded, and so this video is no longer a reflection of the content downpour will bring.

this is basically how my first playthrough went until i realised i'd gotten to five pebbles the wrong way around and decided to passage back so i could go the right way. the grappling worm- i basically held on to one all the way from the leg to pebbles. god it was so good. but apparently you were not meant to just swing your way through the world and up the wall.

@@Spacebugg Dynamic music changes depending on in-game context. More danger means more threatening music. So the idea here is to achieve maximum danger, and escape, to figure out exactly how dangerous the maximum is.

I've never really messed with the character mods, but the passive frog-slugcat seems fun. I feel like losing all your karma when you die is more annoying than challenging though.

Hey for anyone wondering how to do the saint slugcat while having the monk/survivor map in the current version, you have to enable jolly coop and select saint, then make a new game or if you already have one, just reload it. This is probably a bug, but if the devs are reading this, please don’t remove this, as it makes the funner. Try out that but with pup and it makes it SO EPIC. Again, it’s probably a bug, but it should be a feature.

using any slugcat in jolly co-op is a feature, but here Turtle Toad is using a very old version of More Slugcats back before the snowy future was added and before the dlc was going to be a thing.

Just now, comparing them all, I realized that it was a world of intelligent squid worms. Wow. And now it becomes clear why there are such transitions through pipes. Just right for worms, even for worms with tentacles.

Oh, I guess not. Watched video from "mossbug for Rain World" about ancients. Those paintings being an images of them makes sense. I mean, obviously those worms are mostly ancients (maybe even once before the previous generation), but it's an "ascension form", not their original form.

Have you ever tried to play coop mod by yourself(controlling both characters at same time)? Could be an interesting experiment if your brain managed to get used to doing two things at once. I tried it; can't say if it was fun or annoying, probably both. The hardest parts are finding enough keys that you can easily work with using 2 hands and not forgetting the controls during combat.
