I spent 2+ months in Tokyo years ago and knew nothing about their 7-Elevens and quality. When I got there I was jet lagged and walking into one, almost fell over by the employee's greeting, but got 2 egg salad sandwiches. This doesn't sound like much but the best egg salad sandwiches I've ever had. Tried many other things over the weeks and all top quality and especially when you only have time for something quick.

Raina, that bento box looked so amazing, and I could tell that you were enjoying it because you were laser focused when eating. I will be going to Seoul late spring so I will definitely take your advice and hit up the 7-11 stores for awesome food.

For the street foods please try the tteokbokki and the fish cakes on the skewers. Man those look so good!!! I’m addicted to the instant tteokbokki you can buy in the stores and they’re yummy but to eat them fresh 😊

The thing the lady was selling outside is actually candy from squid game and it's not a cookie! She was also making "hotteok" which is a must have, so go back for that please. It's warm, sweet and perfect. The sugar covered fruits you saw is Tanghulu and it's pretty much hardened sugar over fruit. Lastly, the ice cups also come in different sizes and there's drink pouches you can choose to put in the cups. The grape drink in the pouch or the peach tea is my fave! Enjoy Korea!

Next time you should go when it's Summer in Korea. lol. That food you saw on a Skewer you thought was candy was Candy Coated grapes. They use Shine Muscat Grapes and coat them in a sugar coating. They are crunchy and popular. I haven't had any but follow mukbangers in Korea that often eat them. I'd travel if I could. I would love to visit Korea and Japan.

This vid was so cool. I love how you explained each item. I’m always super curious about that. Also, something else I’m curious about: the quality. As many Americans know, if you eat a 7-Eleven burrito or microwave cheeseburger, it’s asking for a tummy ache or worse…. Is it like that eating the conv store foods?

Seoul is a very nice city. The infrastructure is quite amazing. Convenient to travel everywhere from Seoul old town area to Gangnam district in south. Lots of restaurants and cafes (this is literally LOTS) and they serve good food. Their hospitality is wonderful, even for a small shop. You should explore more cities in Korea and consider China for your next stop (border is opening up now as of today 8 Jan 2023). Love your videos, Queen Raina 👍
