Back Story: Standing on a mountain in the middle of a lightning storm isn't the smartest idea, but Rainbow Dash didn't care. Mourning the loss of three of her friends had made her fine mad with grief. Screaming and crying on the mountain, she saw the sickening flash of a lightning strike, not far from her. She looks up at the sky, tears pooling in her eyes as she screamed at the heavens to bring her friends back or take her to be with them. She spread her wings and stood on her hind legs. Lightning struck her wings alighting them and burning them to the bone. Screaming in complete agony, another strike lands itself in her eye, causing her whole body to jerk and fall to the ground, her wings giving off a foul smelling odor... The End

Now, she had lost the one thing that was important to her: her speed. Her skin fell to her side, revealing newer, bigger wings. But these wings were not bound by the rule of life. These had no skin. They didn't need any. After all, this was what she wished for. And nothing you wish for can be wrong... Can it?

During a dangerous thunderstorm, Rainbow Dash, mourning her three dead friends, ignored the warnings telling her to stay inside. She flew off onto a steep cliff. She knelt down, and cried. Rainbow Dash spoke aloud, "please... bring back my friends... I wish they were still here... I wish I was with them..." Once those words escaped her mouth, she felt a quick lash of pain on her wings. Rainbow had gotten shocked. She howled in pain. She reared up and yelled for help. Her eyes looked up into the stormy night sky, open wide. A quick bolt of lightning electrocuted her eyes. Minutes later, she lay dead on top of the cliff, her last words being, "b-be caref-ful what y-you wish for..."

Hours had passed, yet Applejack still hadn't made it to the castle. Rainbowdash was the first to break the silence. "We need to go look for her!" she stomped. "Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are out there doing everyone they can to help. We should stay inside where it's safe," Twilight retorted. "I'm not just gonna stand by while my friend is in danger!" Rainbow yelled, "You didn't stop Discord from searching for Fluttershy. Just let me fly real fast to Sweet Apple Acres. I'll be there and back in a flash." Twilight noticed the clouds in the sky begin to darken and the sun begin to fall. She knew Rainbow could probably outfly whatever threat was out there, and if she did find Applejack those two would be a force to be reckoned with. She also knew if she didn't let Rainbowdash go she'd probably just go anyways. An affirmative nod from Twilight was all it took for Rainbowdash to fly out the window of Twilight's castle. She soared through the darkening sky, intent on getting to Sweet Apple Acres in record time, but stopped short near a mountain landscape. She could've sworn she saw the shadowy figure of Applejack. What if the monster was already after her?! Rainbow quickly changed coarse the mountains. She searched and searched until she came across a creature covered in shadows. While keeping a safe distance she shouted, "Where's Applejack! I know you have her!" The shadowy figure merely smirked. It grew large black wings, and swiftly flew away. Rainbow gave chase. She wasn't gonna let this monster get away with hurting her friends. She flew as fast as she could, but no matter how fast she flew the creature was always faster. She could hear its taunts. It said she wasn't fast enough. She wasn't strong enough. She'd never protect her friends. She pushed through the horrid whispers in her ears and screamed in fury. "All I need is the power to beat you. I won't let you harm any more of my friends." After hearing her cry the creature abruptly stopped and landed on a nearby rock. Rainbowdash followed it and landed in front of it. She prepared herself for a battle, but instead of attacking it spoke. "A pony loyal until the end. Let your loyalty be your downfall." Suddenly Rainbow's wings began to flare up. Her bones began to sprout new wing formations from her back. They grew and grew trying to form larger, stronger wings. However, Rainbowdash's body couldn't take the pain. She refused to give up though. She asked for power and received it. If this was her end she'd take the beast down with her. She flapped the large wings that had already begun to grow feathers and prepared for her fastest rainboom yet. However, in all her determination she forgot the storm that had now approached her. Lightning struck her with full force. Her body was frozen in place as her brain began to fry. It was over in a flash. "And then there were two." I honestly don't wanna do Pinkie Pie dirty. She my fav 😤, buuuuuut the sadistic side of me also wants to watch her video. Then after watching her video I'll probably think of her death 🙄

I HAVE A BACK STORY FOR THIS! ENJOY Rainbow dash had just lost the 2016 flying competition. She was devastated, she never looses! How could she loose this time! She flew to the top of the mountain to get away from everyone. She sat down on a rock and started crying out. She saw a shooting star pass bye. She stood up and made her wish. " I wish I was the fasted Pegasus in the world." Little did she know what this was going to do. A lightning bolt came down from the skies and struck her in the eye. She started screaming in pain as long wings started growing out of her back. Blood dropped down her back almost like a waterfall. Then finally it ended. She looked at her back to see four, long powerful blue wings. She stretched them out and took her first flight. She flew faster than a cheetah. As she flew over the town. Pinky pie was laughing, as usual. Apple jack started having more plants grow on her as she flew bye. One of Raritys pins fell of her back and she screamed in pain. Twighlight tried to shoot fire balls at rainbow dash with her magic but failed. She was to fast. And flutter shy.... she flew after her. They got into an intense fight over who was more dominant. Flutter shy clawed at rainbow dashes face. And rainbow dash started ramming her using her intense speed. Flutter shy fell to the ground. Rainbow dash went on her back legs and neighed in victory.

Rainbone Dash's speedpaint is by far the coolest. I mean, rearing up, roaring at the sky, electricity shooting from your mouth and eyes, having bones as part of your wings, and doing all this in the full moon's light? AWESOME!! Btw I subbed after watching Flutterdie:)

Rainbow dash stood on the mountain looming over ponyville. She knew there was a storm but she didint care. As she stood on the mountain she remembered about what her dearest friend Twilight Sparkle had told her, "Ive been reading about the magical events that have happened here in Ponyville and i found this interesting event. It states that if you stand on the most magical mountain in Ponyville during a lightning storm and speak of one wish that you really want to come true apparently it works according to my studies" Rainbow dash let out a small sigh and walked to the peak of the mountain. She got onto her hind legs and spread out her wings yelling "MAKE ME FLY FASTER! GRANT ME MY ONE WISH TO BE THE FASTEST PEGASI KNOWN TO PONY KIND!" As soon as she screamed this a dome began to form in the sky. Within seconds a huge lightning strike hit Rainbow Dash's wings. She screamed in pure agony as they shifted and burned to the bone before yet another lighting strike struck her eye causing her body to shift and jolt before she went limp and tumbled down the side of the mountain where she met her final resting place. The ponies of ponyville use this story as an example to always be careful of what you wish for. Or else one day.. you might just meet the same fate.

This is so wonderful. Just everything about it. You're wonderful at this. Killing me with just how amazing and detailed it all is! 10/10 would watch a dozen more times.

Maybe when you record it we can see the layers? I don't know but I tried to do painted stuff for a while, but I can never make it look too good because I always merged the hair and body layers. I think you keep them separate but I'm not too sure? I just want to see if im doing this right, i always tried to do painted stuff but they always merge together.

I have a story! (Probably will be lost in the sea of comments) Enjoy! :3 Rainbow Dash completed the race in second place. "How!?" She yelled. "I always win!" Her eyes filled with tears as she galloped away, fearing that if she flew away somepony would laugh at how terrible of a flyer she is. She sat with Tank on the foot of her bed. "Oh Tank... what am I gonna do?" She let out a sigh and continued reading her Daring Do book. A little after finishing her book, she got an idea. She perked her head up "What if I got some sort of spell, that could make me awesomely faster! That way I will always win!!" She smiled at her idea, but soon frowned. "Ugh, where am I going to find a spell like that? Well... maybe a good nights sleep will help me." And soon enough, she was asleep The clock read midnight, she figured out where she can get a book like that. She silently flew to Canterlot, knowing how far it was, and landed on a balcony. She pushed open a closed door and found herself in a room full of books. "Woah... I'm sure one is in here somewhere.." And she started searching. She looked at the clock, 3:37 AM it read. She has been searching for about 2+ hours. Sleepily, she pulled a book off it's shelf but all it did was tilt backwards, like a leaver. "Huh..?" Seconds after, Dash found herself staring down a long, empty hallway that lead to another, much smaller library. She walked in and started searching again without a word. Another hour has passed and Rainbow finally found the book she was looking for. She pulled a book of the shelf and read the cover: "Magical Mystery Cures, sounds like something I've been looking for." She opened it to the Table of Contents and started skimming through. "Aha!" She read the name: "Wishing Your Wishes, sounds about right" she flipped open to that page and read it silently. "Of course!" She took the book and flew to a cliff. "I better do this before the sun rises" she opened the book to her desired page, cleared her throat, and began reading out loud: "I wish to have big, powerful wings that will allow me to beat ANYPONY in a race!" Weird figures swarmed around her, one grinned and spoke to her "Be careful what you wish for..." Soon, storm clouds formed above, lightning strikes hit everywhere, including her eye, making her eye expand with magenta. She screamed "AHHHHhHhHHhhHH-!" Her wings started growing, but not how she imagined it. Bones started growing out of her wings and few feathers started growing near the ends of the so called wings. She reared and managed to say "T-this isn't what I w-wished for-!" The figures fade away, along with the storm. The sun was rising and it was like nothing ever happened. Rainbone Dash layed there in much pain, wondering what she has done to herself.. Sorry it's long! Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I loved writing it. :D

Deep within an unknown valley, Scootaloo hid behind a huge boulder. When she peeked out from behind it, she was horrified to see what happened to her beloved sister. Rainbow Dash was up on her hind legs, screaming in horror. Her beautiful wings were reduced to bones and tattered feathers. Then, as the weather pony crouched down, her eyes immediately fell on Scootaloo. It had been official. Dashie was no more.
