Here’s a super song from 1979 that was featured in ‘The Muppet Movie’ and that was released in 1981 by The Carpenters and this is written and performed as a waltz. It’s the Carpenters arrangement that I’ve copied here. Some lovely structure to this piece with the piano intro. I’m playing this in the key of D major and I take it into Eb Major like the original song. Again, it’s easy to over play this one. I think keeping it simple is best.

How I love this song.....I remember Kermit singing it in a swamp....that was the most magical thing I've ever seen in my life , I was only 3 ....and my mother had to read subtitles to me as I couldn't.....Thank you for bringing this magical moment one more time.....I smile.....to clouds and stars .....waving to my mom.❤ Absolutely beautiful!
