Rainbow Disposal CCC LET 2 New Way Mammoth Garbage Truck on manual trash collection

Here we have some manual collection from the city of Seal Beach CA on July 29th 2020. This route on Seal way is mostly manual with a several automated cans. This section of Seal Beach also features a few walk out sections which is unique. This route is done Monday and Thursday earlier in the morning. The normal truck is a Semi automated Republic dark blue CCC Mammoth. That truck broke down the previous Friday so they were given a bulky can and an old Rainbow branded truck! Thanks to the driver and helper for being really cool and letting me film! Enjoy the Manual collection and the Rainbow truck!

Well the fact that Seal Beach has now had Briggeman, Consolidated, Republic, and Rainbow!

Yup, good observation. That’s quite interesting. I was happy to see Rainbow stuff hit Seal Beach though! I bet a Briggeman Pete 320 Octo did this route ears ago before the CDS WXLL.

Awesome it’s very neat to see that manual trash collection still exists in some towns. I loved seeing this video and very nice truck too dude.

Surely that Bin/Semi Can could have had some sort of front fitted - even a temporary 'bolt on' one, they could have got a lot more in before they had to 'tip it'.

Nice video! That was very cool they used a bulk can, but very ware disposal like lolll. Wonder if this route will ever get automated? Nice video, again!

Yeah WARE vibes for sure. There has been talk about it but I feel it would be hard to do. Considering It’s 4 houses/ buildings instead of 2 per street (2 on each side instead of one on each side). These houses and apartments are quite unusual. It’s doable but the automated cans would clutter up the area in some tight spots. Unless republic buys any low entry’s i feel like we’ll have these CCCs for a while. The newest ones are the ellipticals. Would be very neat to see one on this route!

@@coastalrefuse1371 I'm surprised it's stayed manual for this long with the rest of the city being automated for almost 25 to 30 years. They could easily use the bucket with tippers if they were to do so, and possibly change the days to better incorporate it with the other routes in that area. But let's just hope it stays manual for as long as possible lol.
