Yep my rainbow hairline with the bald spot in the middle is annoying. Lol when ya hair thick you can keep it longer to help cover it/ keep it dark like u said, but rn it's a low fade. I can't find a good balance without it looking too pushed back 🙃

I tell my clients to ask the stylist not to leave product in the hair that’s getting cut. I had one client who’s stylist drenched them in oil after. Let them know to ask the stylist to be mindful of the hair that’s gonna be cut and never had the same issue w that client again

Not much of a trend, more so to prevent hairline receding since braiding/twisting the hair at the hairline could result in hair loss
