Omg it’s so pretty !! I wish there was a black doll who really come like this ! MGA really need to step up their games and give us more textured hair !! As a black hair of course I’m still so happy with the diversity of RH but I think we need something different with hair !

I’m so happy you did her hair. I know the doll community agrees she is a POC with albinism. Still, if MGA did textured hair, we wouldn’t get so many great hair videos.

The pipe cleaners is such a great idea. I curled mine with coffee stirring straws which where awful to use it came out cute not as tight or small as the pipe cleaners. Taking them off before they are dry may be key to some of my issues as well im definitely trying this. It must have taken you forever?!? Great restyle thanks 😊

🥹 this was so sweet thank you. It really means so much. 🥲 I’ve been working on a new video for a while, but it’s still not quite ready 😅 I have kinda slowed down with the collecting and am now only getting the dolls I’m really drawn to. There’s just been so many releases I’ve finally reached a point where I can’t quite keep up. I think I want to start going in more of a custom doll making direction. But of course with that comes much more time and effort. Other than that I’ve been alright. Highs and lows come and go so that kinda reflects in my ability to create content. But hopefully I’ll be back soon and thanks so much for your sweet words. 💞💞

Hmm you mean like a full size person wig? I think so! I know that people use this technique on their actual hair. I believe there might be some tutorials here on KZfaq. I’d try searching “pipe cleaner curls” and see if you’re able to find anything 🥰

I really want to do this on a different doll, (deliah is too precious to me to even touch a hair on her head right now lol) but can I ask if anyone would know the appropriate dolls to do this on? I wish to respect all races and cultures and do them justice at all times, so I'd love to be educated on what little queen's this would be most suited to 💜💜💜💜

Thank you!! 💗💗 I think people from many different backgrounds can naturally have this type of hair. The purpose of me doing it on Delilah specifically, however was to give some hair texture diversity to a character who is black with albinism. I think Rainbow High misses the mark when it comes to giving more beautiful and diverse hair textures to especially the girls of color. There’s a lot more that goes into the beauty standards of hair and how many poc have been historically excluded from that, but that’s a whole other story. Hope this helps 💞💞
