Just got jewel today and when you said heavily glued iknow what you mean I was shocked at how hard my girls hair was it was ROCK SOLID😫 , also I’ve had to use a rubber band on her right hand as it was so flimsy but the rest of her joints are so stiff, beautiful doll but this series’s has their fair share of flaws 🫣, her hair looks great btw ❤

fully agree on the thin hair thing. I style my dolls a lot and i hate having to try and fit like 20 rollers into their hair for smaller curls. Plus it's easier to mimick the volume of thick hair than it is to take away the natural volume

I like to restyle my dolls’ hair too and I don’t style the hair dry. Ever. I ALWAYS wet the hair before styling. It’s actually easier that way. Dry hair will fry a lot more easily than wet hair. I remember the Karma restyle video… her hair fried so bad, the poor girl! I don’t know if it was a quality issue with her hair, or the temperature of your flat iron was set too high, or what, but it was definitely a problem. However, Jewel’s hair turned out gorgeous! She’s also from India, if I’m not mistaken?

Great hair styling. The defects are a shame on these dolls. I picked the best Meena they had in the shop. She has minor flaws but she looks amazing despite them. I wonder how she would look if she would be perfect! The others had really bad mouth issues and stains. MGA bad quality is going to ruin RH if they carry on that way. I also saw several Emi with damaged eyes. Not good.

Do you have any junior high dolls? Have been curious on hair restyling for the junior high girls cause they need a serious makeover In my opinion but their is no junior high restyles on KZfaq at all. Just a suggestion. I obviously could be wrong but you use around half of the straw when curling due to length, so why not cut the straws in half and then you have more, but it’s also a lot easier
