I'm 55 yrs old. Was in Jr high around this time. This is classic. Love complexity of the groove. Not using typical song template verse corus verse corus instrumental verse corus. It's reckless abandon lol. Real musians and talented.

Saw them in Ludwigshafen - Friedrich-Eberthalle 11.10 1977. My 3rd concert at the age of 16. Great times.

Мне 61 , слушаю Deep Purple , Rainbow с детства - слушали старшие братья и я с ними . Мои сыновья слушают , как они могут не слушать ? Много музыки слушаю , уважаю многих , но я убеждён, что Ричи Блэкмор был и остаётся непревзойдённым . Дело не в технике игры , а в тех шедеврах , которые он создал .

I blame my dad for getting me into rainbow n deep purple. I'm happy to say I saw deep purple in 2005. In New Zealand I'd love of saw rainbow too. Only wish cozy Powell was still alive.. Too :)

I remember seing this concert on TV. I must've been about 10 yrs old. Just started guitar lessons. Boy what an impact Ronnie James Dio had on me.. The Early years all i wanted was to sound/sing like him. (I did, but later on i found my Own voice) Hahaha

Ronnie is the best vocalist to ever live. And as a drummer, I always thought Cozy was the best drummer I ever heard. Hard to believe Ronnie, jimmy and Cozy are all gone. So sad. This music needs to back a come back. Todays music is @#$% compared to this performance

It is hard to believe that the song's start was out of a good synchrony. Quite unusual for such great bands. They sped and then corrected the time.
