RAINBOW ROWELL lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband and two sons. She's also the author of Landline, Fangirl, Eleanor & Park, and Attachments.
FROM THE PUBLISHER: Simon Snow just wants to relax and savor his last year at the Watford School of Magicks, but no one will let him. His girlfriend broke up with him, his best friend is a pest, and his mentor keeps trying to hide him away in the mountains where maybe he'll be safe. Simon can't even enjoy the fact that his roommate and longtime nemesis is missing, because he can't stop worrying about the evil git. Plus there are ghosts. And vampires. And actual evil things trying to shut Simon down. When you're the most powerful magician the world has ever known, you never get to relax and savor anything. Carry On is a ghost story, a love story, a mystery and a melodrama. It has just as much kissing and talking as you'd expect from a Rainbow Rowell story--but far, far more monsters.

I love Carry on. I read all 500 pages in like 3 days. It's just the perfect book for teenagers. I really freaking adored it. I love all of her books. I'll probably read them all, 8 times.

I pulled an all nighter and read Carry On from 11:30pm to 7:30am. It ruined my life. It's the best book I've read since Harry Potter in 4th grade

Ik, I read it in one day, then the next day I read it again in like 6 hours, and then I read it again and I just keep re-reading it. I don't know how to get out of this hole (not that I want to, it's cozy and filled with Simon and Baz).

Natasha Sagar I know, they take ridiculously long to make an episode! I've read Carry On, Eleanor and Park, and Fangirl. Right now I'm reading Attachments and then I'm going to read Landline right after. I'm super excited to read them! I wish i wasn't so busy with school, I'd have at least one done. How about you?

I want to meet Rainbow so bad. She seems so down to Earth. She's been one of my fav authors since I read Eleanor & Park and the rest of her books, but it started with E & P for me.

I love carry on!! It took me 6 days to read it all, and I know that might not be very impressive for you, but as a dyslexic who takes at least two months to read my favorite books this was a very proud moment for me! I just love Rainbows writing!

She is just such an amazing person, and she has such a great humor! I just really hoped she would talk about Carry On in the video. Stupid misleading title! I love that she is so honest about not being good at writing expositions, and that she incorporated this into Fangirl. And I love that she was inspired by Twilight to write Eleanor and Park. Twilight was the books series that really introduced me into online fan culture and it definitely shaped my teenage reading experience, so that means a lot to me.

I discover Rainbow Rowell with Carry On. And now i'm absolutely in love with this author and all of her novels. She's simply incredible and talented. Carry on is by far my favorite book, fucking, ever! Simon is the cutest tbh. Rainbow just captured the dorky essence of Penny and Simon, and the braveness of Baz, and just the mystery of the whole book and Baz and Simon's Parents. I just love Ebb because she's just so different and amazing, and it absolutely killed me when Ebb died. Eleanor and Park was amazing also, and it really tells a tale well of an abused girl who can find happiness within just another person and they can make new happiness together, after everything tragic. It's amazing. Fangirl though... LOVE IT SO MUCH!! I fuckin love the diversity and equality in that, there is no boundaries with them; Cath, an introvert who writes Fanfiction and relates to so many people! Reagan, a gothic, social, bitchy girl who is so loveable! I love the way she grew with Cath and Levi, together, and how she respects Cath and Levi's realashinship. Levi, a smol bean. That's it. He's just plain adorable. So caring, and always thinking about others' feelings, and respecting Cath's decision about going to his house. He's like the dream boyfriend everyone wants.

I finished Carry On one day ago it was the best book I’ve ever read, I laughed and I cried. I felt like I connected with the characters and I’m ready to read Wayward Son. Carry On is amazing, thanks Rainbow.

i read fangirl and carry on and i belong to the seemingly small amount of people who disliked the books. but Rainbow does really seem like a lovely person and hearing the story of her career, i do think she deserves her success, even though i don't like her writing personally
