Of course the ending is left open for the audience. My guess is that the last scene where a cart of furniture arrives at the gate of Neeru's house, indicates that the furniture in the drawing room will be replaced by the furniture brought on the cart. Accordingly, the Bed under which Mannu has hidden the Letter will be taken away. Leading to a hint that the the Letter will not reach Neeru and she will never find that Mannu knows her real condition. She will continue to think that she came to know the actual condition of Mannu but Mannu does not know her bad situation. Reference - A scene where Landlord (played by Annu Kapoor) tells Mannu that on daily basis the new furniture comes in and the earlier furniture is taken away for shooting purpose.

But think, the furniture is replaced in the night without annu kapoor’s intervention. Meaning bow she has free life. Slowly she will be free once she knows he is not ticking on him.. or may be does some work to get rid of this situation. But simple put the story shows the real love story of 2 immature human beings once in love and the practical side of society(played by bhabi) .

In the movie he chews Ghutka because he can’t afford to eat proper meals. To curb his hunger he chews ghutka and smokes cigarettes. Mannu tells Neeru I don’t want food, I chew ghutka so I am not hungry. Neeru says yes this is a new habit you have after becoming a businessman. A packet of ghutka is much cheaper than buying food and also he is depressed, people in depression fall into various addiction. It has got nothing to do with his personal branding and sponsorship.

सारी जिम्मेदारी नीरू की थोड़ी थी उसके पति की भी तो थी जो उसे प्यार नहीं करता था और जब उसे पता लगा जिसे वो कई साल पहले प्यार करती थी वह आज तकलीफ में है तो उसने उसकी मदद की क्योंकि आज भी वह उसे दिल से प्यार करती थी अगर नीरू का पति अगर नीरू पर ध्यान देता तो वह उसकी भी मदद करती लेकिन नीरू का पति मदिरापान एवं अन्य गतिविधि में लिप्त होने लगा था आखिर नीरू का भी तो कुछ अभिमान था वह तो पिंजरे से बाहर जाना चाहती थी लेकिन कहां जाती उसे यह पता ही नहीं था
