I take 50 grams everyday, been doing it for 4 years. Amazing results, hair, skin, nails and I'm off all medications. I am 73 years old. Just a heads up, it doesn't cut or scratch inside your body, it also doesn't cut the escoskeletons of insects, it measly drys them out due to the silica in it, so it splits and they die. ❤

I ran out of Cortaid cream for an allergic (hives)skin rash. I mixed DE with some water & smeared it on all the tormenting itching areas. I was surprised to find it almost immediately stopped the itching & it felt good on my skin. The redness began to fade almost immediately too. @@kathytaylor2008 Im older, & even without allergic rashes, I have very dry skin. Dry skin can cause terrible itching by itself. I always use cocoabutter soap (Black Soap at Walmart...in the products for black skin & hair) to bathe, & also apply cocoabutter cream (Nivea) all over after every bath. I use one of those long back scrubber things with handles on each end, & I apply the cream along the length of the scrubber, & apply the cream that way to my back. That has taken care of the dry skin itch for me. The DE I used for the allergic rash didn't seem to add to my dry skin condition at all, & I left it on my skin until my next bath. My dermatologist told me once (I have alot of skin allergies) that if you experience any discomfort after applying anything on a rash or broken area of skin, it's not the right treatment. (The DE felt very soothing on my skin & rash. I only used a thin, watery application.)

I have been using it for 3-4 years. My routine is: before ingesting anything first thing in the morning i have 1 small tea spoon in half pint of water, mixed thoroughly, slowly drink whilst sitting down to ensure slow ingestion (ensuring not to inhale anything), then drink another half pint of water to rinse through- 7-10 days once a month - effectively as a detox (within 48 hours my poop is black - clensing walls of intenstines).

As for dementia... DE removes metals from your body including aluminium which accumulates in the brain. DE passes through the blood brain barrier and binds to aluminum. Its the silica that actually does this. Another source of silica is the plant horsetail which is plentiful in the northwest.🌿💖🌿

Diatomaceous earth does not cross the blood brain barrier. DE does not enter the blood. It only kills the parasite in the intestines. Zeolite does inter the blood and therefore crosses the blood brain barrier pulling metals and parasite from the brain.

My son's family had a bed bug infestation from a rental many years ago. We found that (after thorough sanitize washing) putting items in a big plastic bag sprinkled with DE inside, it killed any residual bug/larvae. They are very hard to irradicate and this was finally the solution that worked. They ended up getting rid of most furniture unfortunately. It was aweful.

Yes, it can be awful. My son had a job where his crew traveled to do jobs. At first, they stayed in motels. The second time he stated in a motel, he unwittingly brought home her bugs. I have learned so much about what to do to minimize them, but for 3 years could not figure out how to completely get rid of them. I tried all sorts of expensive, natural remedies to spray on furniture and beds....but that only deterred them temporarily. Because alcohol causes terrible, painful, unsightly rashes on my hands, I began making a homemade hand sanitizer that is a vinegar tincture with eucalyptus herb and chopped orange peel. I soon found that it repels mosquitos like nothing I've seen. I tried it on my JRT & Doxy-Russell dogs, and fleas hate it too. I began spraying it on the beds, every layer, beginning with the bare mattresses & bowstring, and the bedbugs HATE it too! WAHOO! I have seen only one bug, in the past two years. Success!

Awesome video! Here’s my story regarding DE. I’ve taken DE on/off for 6+ years. I started it with a friend as we thought why not just in case we had any intestinal parasites. I never saw any signs of parasites - HOWEVER, a very welcome surprise happened within days of me starting the DE: all the excruciating herniated disk pain I had been experiencing for over a year disappeared! I started with a small daily amount of 1 tsp in a glass of water/broth/tea and slowly worked my way up to 1 TBSP over approx. 3 weeks. I used to take it daily, but now only take it if/when any joint pains resurface. My tummy did have quite a bit of grumbling (clearing me out) in the beginning. I’ve been told for best absorption, take it in liquid on an empty stomach (when the stomach is most acidic) and if you need help in getting your gut more acidic, add some apple cider vinegar to the water. My approach is to take it 1 hr before or 2 hrs after any meds/food. Be sure to increase your daily water intake when taking DE. I also found the DE had a tendency to “energize” me so I only take it in the AM so it doesn’t affect my sleep. I’m very happy with its effect on me and it has helped several other family members/friends, as well, with skin and joint issues. I usually buy a 2lb bag (or the 5lb bag if I’m sharing with others). I keep some DE on my kitchen counter in a large airtight glass jar and store the rest in a large airtight plastic storage container in my pantry. 😄I don’t think the DE can go “bad”.

Just came across your video. Nice! I used to sell D.E. years ago and D.E. products such as Diatech II with PBO8 and Pyrethrins. We had it reground to 2 micron particle size. Great for snails and slugs. The main reason for regrinding it was so it could be used in mechanical dusters and liquid spray equipment (agitated). We even trialed it on cotton crops near Uvalde, Texas for eliminating cotton boll weevil. Unfortunately the government didn't like that as they mandate that only marathon (an organophosphate) be used. Their in bed with the manufacturers. Cronyism at work. All research was seized and destroyed. It worked though I was there. Wish I knew the process for regrinding it. A friend of mine, John Brannon owned the company that did it but he's not here anymore. Any questions feel free to ask. I have a background in both chemical and organic fertilizer, potting mixes, soil remediation and plant propagation.

We use it for our chickens in their dust bath tub, but we originally bought it for fleas. We haven’t had a flea problem in years now. We just didn’t want to spray pesticides on our yard. Now that we garden, we do use it around our small plants to keep cut worms from eating them. A tip that works great for fleas is to place several nightlights in plugs close to the floor. Place tins with water and a drop or 2 of dish soap under the lights. At night, the fleas jump towards the lights and fall into the pans and drown. Sounds odd, but works great. We also occasionally put DE in the goats feed. Many Blessings!

I bought Diatamaceous Earth specifically to keep all types of bugs out of this house. I sprinkled a wide path of it inside and outside the sill of the kitchen door. There's no screen door but my friend had bought a temporary hanging screen for the door. These don't attach to the floor nor the sill or threshold. So a few determined bugs still come thru. I had ,previously laid a wide swath of Borax powder there and it helped a lil. I had also threw down about 12 big bay leaves along the bottom. Now some Diatamaceous Earth. Tomorrow I have a bug inspector coming out to assess the situation. Wish me luck. I'm in very strange and bizarre bug territory, central Virginia.

Heidi, I hope that people take to heart your warning that too much of anything, even healthy foods, can have a detrimental impact on our health. I was eating a nutrient dense vegan diet, consuming large amounts of spinach, turmeric, ginger, cacao powder and other foods that I was not aware are high in oxalic acid. Over consuming oxalates can cause kidney stones and I developed and passed one. It was more painful than anything I experienced after a serious bicycle accident that required multiple titanium implants for all my broken and crushed bones. So, anyone reading this, please know that foods that we consider healthy when consumed in high quantities are as bad for your health as drinking in excess or taking too many meds.

I agree, regarding the oxalic acid. I was eating spinach like crazy a few years ago, and making smoothies with it. I developed back problems which I attributed to carrying heavy grocery bags. My chiropractor asked me about my diet and did muscle testing. I found out that my excessive spinach eating as well as almonds, trigger back pain for me. I passed a kidney stone as well. Castor oil packs helped and drinking lemon water or vinegar water.

Alzheimer's and Parkinson's are toxicity diseases so it makes total sense to me. Heavy metal toxicity is a huge part of that rabbit hole. @@tinatt6929 an epigenetic protocol for each broken dirty gene you have. What supplement depends on the busted SNP (gene). A squeaky clean dietary lifestyle is a great start (avoidance of processed enriched with synthetic vitamins, refined sugars, glutens, grains, etc as well as cutting dairy) That means clean protein and deep leafy green veg diets. Dirty Genes book and looking up the dirt super seven on the net (for symptom clusters) If it is bad, ALL will resonate. Dirty genes born broken will contaminate your working ones because they are like a small but critical group of lakes all working together. If one is contaminated, eventually all will be, until the issue is addressed. DAO (histamine response/fatigue/wet allergy response/swelling with bug bites/MCAS etc) and MTHFR (methylation/responsible for over 300 processes in body/critical for healthy CNS, digestion, immune system, fertility, and metabolism) are two common ones. DAO symptoms are histamine resistance driven. An oral DAO enzyme relieves the problem by breaking down excess histamine. Anti-histamine only binds them for awhile. MTHFR compromises in body ability to assimilate synthetic B12 and Folate found in enriched processed foods or pharma prescriptions. Methylated food sourced or better (forms) are a MUST. Long term deprivation of real B vitamins can and does drive suffocation on a cellular respiration level...as well as weird anemias from Ferritin assimilation problems, NOT low iron stores. (for that read Mangan's Dumping Iron/another killer, esp of men) Blood test to screen for low grade inflammation problems driven by MTHFR is Homeocysteine. All of this falls under alternative or functional medicine. Regular MD medicine only ascribes to pharmaceutical suppression therapy. Trying to condense a 7 year journey of knowledge. Hope it makes sense.

As for DE, I use it topically with a mosquite gel to treat bites. It sucks the yuk out and swelling goes down. Mine go quarter to dollar coin size but using DE or bentonite sucks it out. A DAO enzyme helps manage from the mast cell and immune production side. Can also low dose internally to cleanse bowels. Watch it tho, can constipate so unwise to over kill. Colonics help if your gut is fubared from leaky gut/SIFO/SIBO (an autoimmune food response/allergy very different from a true food allergy or pathogeninc overgrowth from dead digestive fires/or all three)

I started with 1 tsp the first time I tried it, then worked up to 3 tsp by day 7, fasted for 1 week, then began the same cycle again. In my experience I've not had any harmful signs or harmful side-effects. Now, I will just add a little DE to their dry food about 1x/month and same for the dog to make sure no more parasitic infections. Love DE. I also do use it in my garden, but I put it on the ground around the veggies that get eaten by cabbage moths, grasshoppers, etc. I avoid sprinkling it near any of the flowering plants that the pollinators visit. If it's dampened, on the ground - it seems safe enough to use in the garden; i.e., all my pollinators are still going in full force. Blessings to you.

You wouldn't do a parasite cleanse, year round, so you shouldn't use DE year round. The rule of thumb for a thorough parasite cleanse is 4x a year. Many people do this at the change of each season, to remind them to do it. I like to take DE 3-4x a week, for a month on, then a month off. My body always likes lower doses of most things, anyway. As with anything that has a detox effect, you may experience detox symptoms while useing ĐE. There are things you can do to help to alleviate those. Make sure, well before beginning any sort of detox/antiparasitic protocol, that your bowels are clear, not impacted. Ear plenty of bulk (raw vegetables) daily, and if needed, swallow small handfuls of flax seeds with water, or take Dr. Christopher's lower bowel formula with your evening meal. As soon as you are having a good, full, loose-but-not-warery bowel movement with every meal, your "bottom drain" is open enough for some detox material (and dead critters) to be flushed out, instead of being trapped inside a toxic, impacted bowel, which would make you feel much worse. You can also make potassium broth to drink, to help alleviate detox symptoms. Always drink plenty of water while detoxing.

I've used it for round worm in my cat. According to a vet here on YT you give 1/2 teaspoon per 10lbs of body weight (average cat) 2x a day for 7 days, then 7 days off and again 7 days on to kill any newly hatched ones. Does not work for tape worm. For that he recommended 1 teaspoon finely ground pumpkin seeds 2x a day for about 2-3 weeks. I mix both of them with a moist cat treat and my cat rips it out of my hand. That alone is worth changing from pharma poison. The pumpkin seed, incidentally, does not work for round worm. She was sick with one when she was 2/3 the way through the tapeworm treatment, so I just mixed in the DE for the rest of her course and carry on with just the DE after the tapeworm treatment is over. Also used in bulk storing grains, e.g. 5galon buckets. Sprinkle some in before sealing. If you freeze treat and or use vacuum sealed Mylar bags, you probably won't need it.

A great reminder. I have food grade on hand, have used it in the past and now use for the chickens. Yet, for some reason I stopped for my own health. Thank you for this reminder my friend. ~ Laura

I keep a large jar of honey in a bowl of DE, leaving enough space between the jar and bowl so that a large insect would have to walk across to, rather than climb on, the honey jar. It's worked for years.

As you’ve stated, I use food grade DE in the chicken coop and in their dirt bath area. I will look more into taking it internally. Thanks for the informative video!

I use DE for deworming the pets as well as us! I also use it for pest control in the garden and around the portals of my house. I want to try it in my toothpaste. Thanks for that tip! 💗
