When I was in London every day I walked miles around streets like this and absolutely loved discovering new places . Now live in the country and never walk anywhere - my hearts still in London ! .

I love discovering streets as well when traveling to other cities. I am often lost, and then find the right way. Many years ago smartphone is not so popular as it is today, I got to know my position by memorizing key architectures and rivers. It is an amazing process. What a pity that I have never been to London.

That's because London is made up of small villages and hamlets from the medieval period that have slowly been absorbed by the City of London. Kensington was once a small village all by itself in the countryside and part of the County of Middlesex. Do some reading and then you will understand the complexity of London and it's evolution over 2,000 years.

Occasionally I forget the fact that I am quite lucky to have been given opportunity to live in a such beautiful city. Usually on Saturdays and Sundays I spent my time in lovely cafes of London :) . My favourite café is in Russel Square. :)

If I lived in London (and I’d love to!) I would choose 09.35 Gordon Place - absolutely delightful ! Quiet, tucked away, yet close to everything. London is such a wonderful mix of old and new, historic, secretive, nostalgic, vibrant, ultra-modern, medieval, Roman...

@@sanpostroll2107 Yes this is very very relaxing, thank you for taking the effort to post it. I found it so relaxing as I was watching it on my iPad in the library that I relaxed my sphincter and produce some of the worst dense cloud flatulence ever experienced, people quickly figured out that it was me, however I didn't let this worry me. The smell was a combination of rotten egg sulfur and curry fed feces, I can tell you that it hung around in the atmosphere you could almost write your name it was so dense. Thanks again for the wonderfully relaxing walk through Kensington

Amazing with my airpods in, the way the rain echo's in those lanes and narrow streets, some of those homes have amazing privacy for their gardens and zero traffic, even access to a park, very nice. cheers from San Diego.

Rain is so much fun! It’s fun to go inside a cafe and have tea and cookies, or sleep an extra 2 hours hearing the rain on ur rooftop. Rain is special, makes all the plant color more vibrant.

Hi Sanpo, I normally don't have a very positive attitude to rain, but after all the heat it was very refreshing, and somehow this video really seemed to work. The sound of the rain on your umbrella, the shiny deserted pavements, the cleansing away of the dry dusty heat all came together, to produce a great video. ☔️☔️☔️☔️

@@Bgf777 I just produced some petrichor in the form of a moist wet combination of rotten egg gas and feces sulfur enriched flatulence, it was so dense and hung around in the surrounding atmosphere for over 30 minutes, people in the library were dry retching. Unfortunately I wasn't able to silence the expulsion and most people knew that it was me who did it, however I kept reading and actually produced a couple more of these moist wet rotten egg/putrid dense gas expulsions

Hello Sanpo Love the walk in the rain. Kensington high street was the first street we walked on our first visit to London, it brings back lovely memories. We had dinner at the Byron's at the entrance to Holland park, plus a Italian restaurant called Pistinos. Plus it is the street with Jenssen dealership. Take Care Chris and Sandra of Canada.
