EmpressMoogie happy to help! From floor to the top of the boot, it’s 16.25 inches. Measuring inside the boot, from the inside sole to the top of the boot, it’s a little less than 15 inches. For reference, I am not so tall, either. I am 5’4”. Please let me know if you end up buying it and if so, how you like it. I do hope you find the boots you need. Enjoy shopping!

I will let you know if I do purchase a pair, however, based on the measurements you provided, I think the boots will be too tall for me (slightly go past my knees). The only way to be sure is to try on a pair of the Hunter boots you had on in the video as you said the measurements are similar for both boots. Paul Coletti yup. When I had to purchase new boots the quality of Hunters has degraded dramatically so I went for something else. I also think Le Chameau is better in quality and longevity and even if it’s made in Morocco now, at least it’s not China, and I have not heard any complaints from Le Chameau users online. I did want the leather-lined zip-up which looks sooooo gooooood, but was also sooooo expensive, haha.

@@maryannemoll agreed! The full zipped ones are £250 normally or at best circa £195 in the UK when on sale is frankly rather absurd. BUT then would it ever be wise to buy a boot with a potential built infailure problem waiting to happen? Hmmm I have read some users having issues with leaking at the base of the zips so it's definately not 100% foolproof and if you are intending to use them in standing water like you filmed rather than mud I think the risk of failure over time is very real. Having a 2 year warranty (in the UK let alone the Philapines) is all about how well they honour it. Ha ha I mean also 'zipped wellies' is a pretty ludicrous concept to begin with isn't it! I did seriously consider them though, but I think 'common sence will better my lust' and I will settle on the cheaper gusseted version as a half way sensible alternative. 😁

Le Chameau, hands down.

That’s simply because no I’m my country carries the good rubber boots. Only the cheap synthetic rubber ones that are not pretty, like I showed on the video. Also as you have seen, when it’s raining and flooded, people do not wear rubber boots. I’m the only one who does. That’s probably why stores don’t carry the good, expensive rubber boots here because they think only a very few people would buy them.

I try to buy name brand items here in Canada so what is expensive there I can send it to my family there. 🙂

For sure we don’t have branded rubber boots like Hunter and Le Chameau. If they want rubber boots I suggest you send them these brands, or the other good brands like London Fog.

@The Unplanned Life it's still winter here. There's still 4 feet of snow on the ground. Spring is taking its time. I'm sure excited to get out in my new hip Boots and enjoy a fun hike in the sun rise river.

I’m glad yours are still doing well after 7 years! I hope mine last that long and even longer. I am not in Metro Manila anymore, and since the pandemic I hardly ever leave the house so the boots don’t get a lot of use but I made sure to store them properly. Have fun shopping for the hip waders!

@@maryannemoll I have 30 acres of land and I’m in my Le Chameau Boots every day here in Minnesota and even in the winter. I put them thru heck and they are still my #1 go to Boot. I’m ordering some stuff for my Jeep currently and after that I’ll order my La Chameau hip waders.

@@waynejohnson3388 you live in a farm that you own! That is so cool. I grew up in a farm myself and it was just wonderful. I am really loving my Le Chameau. I actually just checked on them a few minutes ago and they are still soft and pliable. I made sure to put some silicone on them before putting them into a breathable boot storage bag. The rainy season is coming up in my country and I plan to film for a vlog about a cemetery. Looking forward to using my rubber boots on that day. Rain + cemetery.

@@maryannemoll Well if it’s muddy that’s good cuz that’s what Boots are for. My place is country with the sun rise river running thru the northern 10 acres. I feed the wild life such as deer, Squirrels, rabbits, birds, turkeys, ducks, geese and fish

I myself went one size up when I bought the Hunter, and it turned out okay. Unfortunately I no longer have my Hunter so I can’t measure the calf size.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. But I am glad you beat it. I also got Covid last year. Thankfully my symptoms were just mild and I did not need to be hospitalized but it was still quite scary. That is quite true now. People have complained of new Hunters breaking down after only a few weeks. I’m lucky mine lasted a few years. I did buy it a while ago, way before Hunter moved their production to China.
