This one actually didn't☹ But they let us pray in the back room. There were 3 other ladies there That's about it. I think we just picked the odd mosque that didn't. Still met some lovely people though😊 oooh a random stranger gave that to us to try. It was really nice of him. Such a unique fruit. Glad you enjoyed it! 👌🏼 Malaysia was a dream 🤩 Both my husband and I are fluent in Urdu and speak Urdu with our parents/family. Lately, we've been throwing in some Urdu while chatting at home, mostly to teach the kids. But overall, English is still the go-to language for our everyday conversations.

Mainly most Malaysian mosque they will closed the women section on Friday, due to full house and also because ussually women in Malaysia culture will pray in their office/mall or at home.

The Malay call it (that snakeskin fruit) 'Salak'... or buah Salak... where 'buah' means fruit.

Oh yes we usually don't as a family often. My husband usually goes alone. We just wanted to experience friday prayers in Malaysia. It all worked out in the end and we were able to pray.😊

@morefoodplease
@morefoodplease Жыл бұрын
Yes it was! I actually don't remember😅 I tried to look it up but the pavillion mall website doesn't have the name's listed for all the restaurants just a few unfortunately. Hopefully you can find it! It's in the main food court and in the middle. I believe the food court is called "Food Republic" it has an amazing variety of cuisines. We fell in love with the dumplings there! Thanks for watching. Hope you are having a great day!😊👌🏼

Is June a rainy season In KL?
@morefoodplease
@morefoodplease Жыл бұрын
We went in Feb/March so it did rain quite a bit but most days only for a few hours. Majority of our trip was in Kuala Lumpur but when went to Penang (for about a week) it did not rain there at all. I don't think June is rainy season but I'm not entirely sure. Either way because of the heat/humidity thunderstorms are very common. It's hard to track and organize your day based on weather channels/apps best advise I can give it keep an eye out yourself if you have a good view of the city. We wasted time relying on apps, some days it would say its raining outside and it wasn't 😅 Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 😊
