Hi trixie, I am sorry to hear that. I can emphasise/sympathise with you. I also am disabled and find it extremely difficult to travel (my sitting capacity is about 15min). I really want to go to a friend's wedding in New Orleans. However, I can not afford business class (where you can lie down). Anyhow, it is sad, frustrating & upsetting... I am also grateful for these stories and I agree with you that these stories really help to imagine travelling to amazing places.. I really liked your comment & your description of the painting stories... i wish you the very best ❤

Yes, I'm vision impaired. I have Retinitis Pigmentosa and have very limited vision so I really understand how hard it is to travel and I get so upset about it and it causes me anxiety sometimes but he offers me an escape that I can go to in my mind . I'm truly grateful for that.

I can't believe you Stephen! YOU DIDN'T HELP ME SLEEP TONIGHT, YOU JUST MADE ME CRY! I am a young Turkish woman living abroad. My home town used to be Istanbul Beyoglu as you told us in your story... There used to be a Willy Wonka's Cafe around Galata tower which made their own handmade chocolate that I used to go when I was just a high-school student. I felt like I was teleported through time, dying to stay awake and hear every word that came out of your mouth. For the last few months, I was missing my family and having sleep problems due to stress, so my path crossed with your channel and now I sleep with your voice every night. I'd like a story about a forest den of bunny's or other similarly soft and cuddly animals! If you already have one I'd love to fall asleep to that. Perhaps a town of stuffed animals? Sounds childish, but sometimes that nostalgia and safety is nice.

The privilege of the luxury of your sleep stories is mine... I have actually tried listening to other story tellers that have wandered into my recommended videos, but their voices are just not as gentle and soothing as yours. You have an incredible gift. Thank you so very much for the variety of stories and the introduction that is unique for each recording because it keeps attention much better than a common 'copy/paste' introduction. It would be easier for you to just re-use the introduction and countdown, but would not be as effective for me. Your attention to detail and taking the time to do things extremely well instead of cutting corners makes you so unique. Thank you 😌

Love this! Really excited to sleep now but had a thought for another story - a beautiful woodland walk turns fantastical as you stumble into a fairy ring.. your voice is so well suited to the dreamy and fantastical and I’d love to hear something like this. I love the idea of cafe stories from various around the world. To whoever suggest this idea, I love it~ ❤ If I am to give a suggestion to a location, perhaps one in Seattle. There is a little shop close to Pioneer Square called "Lady Yum", to which they sell macarons and coffee. They also serve alcoholic drinks, and even a special: a glass of bubbly and a macaron for 5 bucks! Their decor style is fun and whimsy, and just a good time there. It's one of my favorite places to stop in whenever I am making a walk from Chinatown to Westlake.

I owned a cozy little cafe in a small town in Ontario… for 14 years, until covid:(… I worked there with my two Moms… my birth Mom and my step Mom.. lol (they are best friends!) Anyways, it was the coziest place in town on rainy days💕

Beautiful story and I so look forward to this new series. I would love to hear about a coffee shop somewhere in Scandinavia. My husband’s family are from Sweden and Norway and I have come to learn that the Scandinavian countries drink more coffee per capita than others in the world. I have also seen some short clips of husky cafes where you can sip your coffee while enjoying the company of a retired ski dog. It sounds like a calming way to spend a polar day or night.

Thank you, Stephen. Soothing and interesting. The only problem with these magical sessions you generously share? I rarely hear the middle or end of the story because I’m asleep so fast! (I liked the Irish road trip one so much that I listened to it when I was 100% awake, purposely trying not to fall asleep, because I wanted to hear about the coastal road.)
