April, I had listened to all your other siblings at Lakewood before: Lisa, Paul, and Joel, and I've also subscribed to your channel awhile back solely based on what you've said and how it resonated inside of me. I agree, everyone is different: Paul's sermons are very methodic and very scripture-based, Lisa has a very strong and solid voice and it in itself sometimes lifts me up from low spirits, and Joel's unassuming amiable demeanor and his storytelling way of preaching is very endearing. But I find your podcasts to be very practical, with practical steps to help and guide us - which I appreciate. 😄

Wow once again I needed to hear this conversation. April you’re opening so many thoughts and realities for me with your words. Im so happy that God showed me your channel. After my mom passed someone said to me I had to step up and fill her shoes. My mom was a prayer Warrior and everyone went to her for prayer and they all loved her. I felt so inadequate because I don’t have a lot of friends and family that reach out to me. Im not mom and never will be able to fill her shoes and I am fully aware of that now. I am me and a daughter of the King. I actually just breathed a sigh of relief I thought I was the only one feeling like this😢 thank you April 🙏🏼

I've already been listening to your mom's voice reading me scriptures. So I'm excited about this. If I can figure out how to get rid of the gross m Shyamalan (sp?) Ads. Ugh. 1st world problems, right? MY favorite scripture passage is Isaiah 61. Love that and so glad I memorized it BEFORE my big current health challenge. Esp in the MRI Tube or on the medical transport bus. So much strength 💪 Thank you for --oope...there that ad goes again. I've heard it 4 times now!... anyway.
