SVR owner here! Best SUV i have ever driven. it is hard to explain, but all i can say is no turbo V8 is going to touch this.. No x6 or GLE or Q8.. The handling and sound and overall performance is amazing and would buy this vehicle over and over and over again. Very reliable based on our years of ownership and looking forward to many many more.

This Jag looks fierce in black!

If you don't need the "bougie" feel (and off road hardware of a RR), this is the one to get. This 5.0 has been in 200,000 Jags and Land Rovers since 2010----it is well known, lots of them out there, and all its weaknesses from a decade ago remedied. There is no reason you can't get 150K miles out of it if you care for it properly. The trans is ZF, bulletproof. A decade from now people at the car show will pay you just to hear you rev it.

Highly recommend the F-Pace SVR - they are actually a great value. Took delivery of a near identical 2023 in May (ordered in October/22 ), after purchasing a 2023 F-Type P450 last year. Only difference with mine is all black semi-Aneline leather/seats and 22" silver diamond-turned rims. Switched to F-Pace SVR from 2021 X6. Love it and super happy with the decision - total sleeper, with great performance, handling, sounds, luxury and style. Hope Jaguar are doing a serious rethink on pure EV. They need to keep a mix of 5.0 super charged V8, PHEV hybrid and pure EV. Then they would have a killer lineup.

We’ve owned one for over a year now and have about 17,000km. It is the most fun I’ve ever had with a car; always puts a smile on my face. It did get a ride to the dealership the other day due to what looks like a transfer case output shaft seal. Minor details. I’m surprised more hasn’t happened after the abuse I’ve put it through!

I’ve owned this exact F-Pace SVR model for last 2 years (‘21 model). Pros: a) great looks, engine is responsive and energetic, b) has beautiful sound (wish you could leave the full exhaust sound on all time vs. having to turn on with button or being in dynamic mode, c) handling is good for a heavy SVU (this is not a sports sedan and you need to be careful with the speed as you can get in trouble quickly), d) sound system is great, e) informatics very good. Cons: a) Jaguar service is horrible…I had some fender damage and it took Jaguar 9 months, yes 9, to deliver the body parts, AC stopped working at 500 miles and Jaguar could not get it in for service for 2 weeks in middle of summer, b) Rough ride: the ride is too hard even in comfort mode - I think due to the too small 35 height tires…should have gone at least 40…again, this SUV will never handle like a sports car and should at least be comfortable in comfort mode as it does have a dynamic mode - it’s not a sport car. I like it as it’s unique vs. all the more common German SUV’s so it’s a good choice to consider - I just hope you don’t need service!

That's an amazing price for what you're getting here. I owned a 2002 Jaguar XJR, silver/dove, and never had any problems except for the driver's side window mechanism fixed under warranty. Great fast, luxurious, classy cars. This would be an awesome vehicle to drive and own.

This is a steal @ $100k and also unique. I drive a Cayenne S currently and it is terrific, but they are very common in affluent areas.

I looked on car complaints for repair issues on Fpace...from 2017 to present and there's literally no problems. In fact, it would be hard to find another vehicle with what was reported.

My sister had one and the car spent more time in the shop than on the road. Beautiful car when it works.

Just bought my 2024 Jaguar F-Pace SVR.. thank the lord for my blessings! This truck is amazing! I highly recommend it. Better than the normal suvs on the roads why have Mercedes when you can be unique.

I have an FPace, love the look, the performance, the interior. Extremely fun to drive BUT the reliability issues are true. Mine has been in the repair 9 frikin times.

Hi Joe: I had a 2020. I loved it so much I got 2022. Mine is dressed up just like this one. You are right about the exhaust. It was love at first listen. As far as reliability...I have had no problems with either one. The dealer I use is the best. I think Jaguar is making a big big mistake by going all electric. I think that is a suicide decision. Oh well. Everything good comes to an end someday. Love your videos....keep it going.

I think the F-Pace has been one of the best, if not the best looking, SUV on the market. As new Alfa convert the Stelvio Quad might win out on looks for me. I think a big issue with the Jag is the seemingly huge depreciation they have. I'm not well enough versed currently to speak about any reliability issues which I know in the past has been a Jag issue. I think if you find a good used one and can get an extended warranty then they would be worth it because they sound and look amazing. I do request that if you can start adding Alfas to your comparisons when you are doing things in the class. I think they deserve it now that the "Alfa issues" aren't what they used to be, actually #1 in JD Power currently so take that other luxury brands.

Just bought this SVR in the exact colors as shown in this video. Actually, I bought it for my wife. She wanted a Jaguar. After driving it once, I hardly drive my car anymore. I make up excuses to drive it because that exhaust, with the bangs and pops, brings a smile to my face every time. It handles great; the acceleration for a vehicle this heavy, is fantastic; it’s roomy; the touch screen interface is really easy; the sound system is very good. My only WTH moment was the diffuser slots being behind the wheels. The brakes took a bit of adjustment as they initially felt soft. But that sensation soon disappeared with a couple of drives. I didn’t think I’d love an SUV the way I love this! BTW, my wife loves it too. Just for different reasons.

I am actually pulling the trigger on a new F-Type by next weekend as a birthday present to myself. Just trying to figure out if I should go with a new P450 AWD or a slightly used F-Type R that has only 2k miles on it.

Dynamically, what most reviewers fail to mention about any F-Pace, let alone an F-PACE SVR is how well they handle off-road and in the snow!!! These supercharged beasts will leave a Porsche and a BMW and an MB in the snow bank on a snow covered road. So not only are these things a hoot to drive on B roads (country lanes over hills and around bends) they rock in the mud and in the snow such that regardless of the season, this vehicle delivers in all kinds of weather. The reason Jaguar service is suffering is that the brand is phasing out 75% percent of its exiting JLR Land Rover -Jaguar dealers to go upscale and compete with more upscale niche brands. This implosion of the dealer network spells the end for the brand because once you blow up the network (ike Alfa Romeo did decades ago) when they pulled out of the USA, you can never really get it back which is why KIA and Buick dealers are now trying to sell Alfas without the high touch - high class sales and service needed to attract highly-educated successful professionals to show rooms and close deals. You cannot have uneducated used car salespeople trying to sell luxury performance cars or yachts because they don't have the savoir faire to interact with sophisticated educated buyers and the first time the salesperson tried to BS such person, they will get up and walk out of the dealership. Jaguar and Range Rover buyers are the most successful of all luxury brand purchasers so simply dressing correctly and speaking properly is essential to the brand's image and too many dealers hire pick-up truck and Kia or Ford salespeople who just do not jive with the clientele. I own two Jaguars and I absolutely love the driving dynamics, style, comfort and utility but the dealer service experience is too often not high touch enough. Supply chain issues and backlogs and a lack of technicians creates a backlog for service and no-one likes waiting a week to fix a defective battery nor should it take 2 days just to get the vehicle diagnosed and another 3 days to order and receive parts. That said, the new supercharged and turbocharged Jaguars are as reliable as any other car brand I have ever driven and I have no complaints and the 5 year 60K warranty with free maintenance is the best in the luxury car marketplace. The electronics are pretty solid and the build quality is right up there with the best of the best. The biggest risk with a Jaguar under a 5 year free maintenance warranty is finding a dealer willing to do warranty repairs as Jaguar's dealership network fades away in the USA due to franchise terminations. The brand was totally mismanaged by the last CEO as the XE and F-Pace were simply far better vehicles than the public ever knew. Product advertising was non-existent and positive brand awareness was simply horrible in the USA. While I would choose to drive an XE or F-Pace any day of the week over a BMW or MB or Audi (forget about Lexus or Acura) most people think Jaguars are as reliable as a 1976 Ford Pinto and nothing could be further from the truth. The only cars that approach the dynamic handling fun factor of supercharged Jaguars are American muscle cars like the Dodge Challenger with supercharged V-8 but the Jags handle so much better in the bends and the comfort and build quality on the new Jags is just so much better as is the exclusivity and classiness of the Jag designs. Whereas the Dodge says, hey look at me, the Jaguar just says "I like cool design and performance in a very understated British way".
