Incomparable Superstar, Rajesh Khanna was the 70s' original King of Romance. One huge reason for Khanna's popularity was the chart buster music in his movies, specially kishore kumar voice and music of R D Burman did the magic in 70's.. Besides his charming personality, romantic gestures and enchanting smile, The actor won seven Best Actor Awards and received ten nominations.
In 1973, he won three Filmfare Best Actor Awards, one Filmfare Special Guest Actor Award , and also received a Filmfare Special Award in 1991, after twenty-five years in the Hindi film industry.
He received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th anniversary Filmfare Awards ceremony in 2005. He also received the IIFA Lifetime Achievement award in 2009.

RajeshKhanna was God he had devotees not fans which no other star in the history of this film industry ever had from 1970 to 1975 it was mass hysteria especially 1970 to 1972 1st half such was the impact of RajeshKhanna that he remains the highest paid actor for the longest duration from 1970 to 1987 a record yet to be broken like his 17 hits in a span of 2 & half years

जिंदगी का सफर है ये कैसा सफर कोई जाना नही कोई समझा नही...... राजेश खन्ना साहाब हिंदी फिल्म जगत के पहले सुपरस्टार, ऐसा अभिनेता हिंदी फिल्म जगत मे ना पहले हुवा था , ना बादमे कोई हुवा, एक असामान्य प्रतिभाके धनी थे राजेश खन्ना साहाब जिन्होने अपने अदाकारी, अभिनय से सबको सममोहित किया था , सबके दिल जिते थे रोमँटिक फिल्म हो, दर्द भरी फिल्म हो, फिलासोफीकल फिल्म हो, सामाजिक फिल्म हो, सामान्य आदमिकी जीवन कहानी बया करने वाली फिल्म हो, सभीमे उनका रोल बेमिसाल था,अभिनय मे वो अपने आपको पुरी तरह झोक देते थे , और इसलिये उनका अभिनय एक सहज अभिनय लगता था... आनंद फिल्म मे का उनका अभिनय और उनके दिल को छू लेने वाले संवाद हम कभी नही भूल पायेंगे... जिंदगी और मौत तो उपर वालेके हाथ मे है, उसे ना तो आप रोक सकते ना मै,हम सब इस रंगमंच की कठपुतलिया है , जिसकी डोर उपर वालेके हाथ बंधी है,कौन कब उठेगा ये कोई नही जानता... फिल्मो मे कॅन्सरग्रस्त इन्सान को रोल,चरित्र करनेवाला ये महान अभिनेता आखिर कॅन्सर से ही इस दुनियासे अलविदा हो गया ये कितनी दुखद बात है ,. इस महान अभिनेता को विनम्र अभिवादन,ये शो मे राजेश खन्ना साहबकी बडी अच्छी अदाकारी के फिल्मो की, गितोकी और संवाद की झलकीया पेश की गयी, शो की स्क्रिप्ट अच्छी है , एक सुपर स्टार की कहानी नपे तुले शब्दो मे और सारांश मे बताई गयी, बहोत बहोत शुक्रिया... 👍🌹🙏

Rajesh Khanna is unparalleled. What a performance . No actor before and since had the impact on the audience. 17 super hits in a row. Movies became popular by word of mouth - there was no satellite TV , no OTT, no internet, no 24 hour TV, very limited marketing , hardly any magazines on films, 99% households did not have TV or telephones , very little publicity, no multiplexes , India’s population was 1/2 of today, middle class was a fraction of todays . And in the late 60s and 70s created a craze all over India never seen before and since. Came into the industry on merit after winning a talent hunt competition against some 10,000 participants . (Even AB participated in one of them & lost) Had no Godfather. Could carry a movie without even a heroine ( Ittefaq, Anand , Bawarchi ….) . Didn’t hestitate to do all kind of roles - Dushman, Bawarchi , Red Rose , blockbusters like AAP ki Kasam, Avishkar, ) . Unparalleled charisma and screen presence . A true superstar, so far the only one, really.

My favorite actor. He was not only the great superstar but an intense actor. See the variety of films he did from 1969 Aradhana ittefaq Anand Bawarchi Amar prem Avishkaar and many more. The busiest super star doing variety of films also proving him as an actor. Amar prem is my most favorite and have watched it 50 times. Rajesh Khanna has taught us how to lead life जिंदगी बडी होनी chahiyet लम्बी नही . His critics may say many things about his downfall later but to fall from a height you must first reach that level. The only mistake hi did was he accepted bad films just to remain in the stardom. If he were wise enough he would still be the super. Any wat he still lives in the hearts of millions of his fans even today.

My Collection- Khanna's Khazaana Legendary actor India's first & Original Super Star Rajesh Khanna (from 1965) Myself, Mr. Vilas Raja Ghate, G. D. Art (app) an advertising photographer, working from Thane, passed out from “J. J. School Of Arts” the number one art institute of Asia. My family inclination towards ‘Bollywood’ influenced me watching super-star Rajesh Khanna’s movies and started collecting his photographs. The hobby started at the small age of 10, & by the time I reached 65 years of my age, eventually got converted into a passion. This collection has already completed Golden Jubilee Year in 2018. Despite of meeting him several times on the shooting-sets I felt very privileged & honoured, when he himself invited me & my family at his place. The day was ‘25th October 2008’ - Diwali Dhanteras & personally I got recognition to my collection. The year 2019 is very special to me as it is the ‘Golden Jubilee’ year of my passion & collection of ‘Super- Star RAJESH KHANNA’ (1969 -2019). I am very proud to say that, my collection is crowned by LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDs-2018.
