About Rajiv Gandhi Park
Rajiv Gandhi Park is re-opened in September 2022, after the renovation reconstruction of the Park. The Park has been developed by the Government and VMC for an amount of Rs.6.50 Crores. Rajiv Gandhi Park has been developed by Vijayawada Municipal Corporation; this park is a prominent place in Vijayawada. This park is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. Various colorful flowers, plants, trees, vines, and shrubs are in the park. Some of the other attractions of Rajiv Gandhi Park include a mini zoo and aquarium, roller rink, playpen, rock slide, gun shooting, mini train, and jeep ride.
Evolved structures of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals also make this park educational. The musical fountain located here is something that young and old alike can enjoy.
