Rajeev Masand

4 жыл бұрын

On the eighth episode of #ClassAct, Rajeev Masand sits down with #TillotamaShome, who began her career with Monsoon Wedding, and has featured in some acclaimed films like Shanghai, Qissa, and A Death in the Gunj. She talks about her film #Sir, which screened in the Critics Week section at Cannes in 2018 and which finally opens in India next week. She explains the responsibility she felt while playing a domestic help in the film, which focuses on the relationship that develops between a man and his house-help. She also talks about reuniting with Irrfan Khan for #AngreziMedium, and the new show she's just done - #Mentalhood - which is unlike the kind of parts or projects she's taken before. Tillotama, an abundantly gifted and instinctive actor, explains how she's made peace with the fact that some of her best work remains largely unseen.
