3 жыл бұрынSet in Assam's insurgency ridden decades beginning from 90s, "Jwlwi- The Seed" is a story of hope lost and found through resolute perseverance even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
Alaari copes with her husband’s death for over a decade who was killed in a cross firing between rebel cadres and state forces. A new concern emerges for Alaari, in the form of Erak, who is now all grown up, when the political climate is heating up with renewed efforts to rebel against the majoritarian state. New reports of young Bodo youth joining the separatist movement inspired in their revolutionary zeal by the thoughts of iconic leaders such as Mao and Guevara gain momentum, yet again.
Could impressionable lad fall under the influence of the rebels? Will he too feel that he can free the community from generations of oppression through the barrel of a gun?
Alaari must save the last seed of her family.

The movie is really brilliant. There is both pain and poetry in the visuals. Rajni does the work of directing as well as playing the lead role in a really wonderful way. As a resident of Assam, this movie and its story, has now become close to my heart. Thanks for making this movie. I would like to watch it multiple times. It's a privilege that I got to watch it for free on KZfaq. I would be happy to watch it on pay per view.

It is really awesome movie bruh. But i guess it only depicts 25% of what took place back in 80s and 90s. Very little is known to the people of today's generation. Trust me bruh, the situations were worse than that. But we are glad that because of Rajni ma'am and her team, those hidden incidents will be known to the world now..

While watching this my tears came out rembering the 90s during the village life.Where my dad spent 6month in mangaldai jail in 1983,My mom spent 14days jail in mangaldai in 1997 with out any reason.Village-Simuluguri(Gerua Bazar)While lots innocent villagers got tortured by security forces.Also there were many gun battle among BLT,NDFB and Security Forces

One of the best movies based on true life events. Concept and cinematography was so organic. As a Naga, it resonates so much with the struggle a mother has to go through. Household Chores, family and social cares while their sons giving their lives for the cause yet a mother has to still live on bearing so much more than she can take. It portrays the strength of Women especially Conflict affected women of the world. I was curious to watch this movie based on the twitt by Prof. Dolly Kikon. I also remembered my friend Dr Mitzing Sha who contributed a part of this inspiring movie. Such an applaudable work. It was real and organic. God bless You, Ma'am.
