Dr. Velu's way of doing business is very conventional like the Marwaris do. He built a brand which can last for Decade and centuries to come. Although he sold for his personal reasons. But if the next owner will follow the same ethics he can survive for hundreds of years in future. Basically Dr. Velu created a business for his next 7 generations. Very value driven, very touched, focused on key area of customer's demand, Zero debt, Calculated Risk, Risk only when your gut has concrete feeling of it, well market research, know what your competitors are doing, make your family into business, don't flaunt. On the other hand new age start up takes lots of funding and then wait for a day to get succed.
