Synopsis:
Ribbon is the story of Sahana and Karan, a married couple, and the challenges they face when they have to deal with unplanned pregnancy. Sahana is an executive in a company, the accidental pregnancy set her back from work eventually causing her to lose her job. When she goes on maternity leave she is demoted. Finally when she asks for 3 days leave the office fire her. Later, it is shown that her daughter is being abused by her bus driver. The plot later revolves around that. The movie also shows light into how working parents struggle with managing life and work.

I was just 5 yrs old kid when my uncle 1st molested in my own house 😓😓 we were in a joint family and he molested me until I was in my teenage. I had no idea what was going on with me😭 I always felt that it was my mistake. I wish I could have a power to sue him. Now I am 29yrs old and it still hurts remembering my childhood days. You can talk to a counselor and your parents or siblings. Sharing your pain help you to let go that guilt. And I want to tell you that you were never wrong, only that lowly person who did that to you was/is wrong!! There is a reason that why we should never date a person with big age gap at least before 20 because it is very easy to manipulate them. A young person is very innocent and have people pleasing personality whereas a grown up is not like that.

I think it all comes down to the same topic of educating people of India especially the younger generation about the values and I don't mean the superficial moral values that the aunties focus on but the integrity and importance of the content we consume. The reason we want to see movies with nudity is because sex education is pretty much non-existent in India. Banning porn is another stupid step. Once, we would be educated we won't sexualize, objectify women in cinema

This was happened to me also... When i was in class 3 - 4 .....i was new to the school and had no idea about Child Abuse, molestation at that time because i was a little girl... There was a guy who drives the school van.he was a school driver and when i started going in the van... He always came up to me and says that you can sit in the front and i was happy because sitting in the front was good . Than he always asked me are you studying well and all.... One day he put his left hand on my thighs while driving in one hand and i was feeling very uncomfortable ....on that day onward he alway puts his hand on my thighs and I Don't Know what to do.... I didn't told my parents also.... And started sitting in the back seat..... One day the school driver had got into an accident and from that accident the driver's legs became weak till now....

Almost every girl in India has been through this. We all can feel the rage, the pain, the trauma of this scene. Pehle main dua karti thi ki jo is tarha karte hain unki betiyon ke saath bhi ye ho phir samajh aayega unhe lekin ab lagta hai usme unki betiyon ka kya qusoor or kahi na kahi unki betiyon ke saath bhi hota hi hoga ye sab kyunki ye samaaj hai hi bhediyon ka. Ghar me, school me, school bus me, aas paas jis bhi roop me male presence hoti hai unme se har dusre mard ki niyat gandi hi hoti hai or ye main sirf apne experience se nahi bata rahi aaj tak maine jitni ladkiyon se baat ki hai un sab ka ye hi experience raha hai. Boht rare hi hota hoga aisa jaha ladkiyon ke saath kabhi aisa kuch na hua ho shayad 1000 me 1 case. If I'll get married and have a girl child, I woud never let anyone come close to her not even the closest of the closest male relatives. Its not like men in my family are like this but considering the current scenario, I can't trust any man with my baby except her own father or brother.

These sorts of incidents happened in Hyderabad DAV school a few moths ago and also in Nellore. In Hyderabad, the child was just 4. 5 years old. That monster had raped many more innocents. This 4-year-old spoke to her mother, and the parents took action. Unfortunately, the Telangana CM is so busy with elections he has not uttered a word of remorse or offered his support. Only sone education minister came and made enquires. Nothing so far for the heartbroken kids.

The same happened with me when I was in 3rd standard our rickshaw wale bhaiya used to pick up from our house to our school , that was the daily routine , when I started going from it after sometimes he started touching me in my sensitive area but at that age I was not that matured to know what was happening. But later on I realized he was molesting me and other girls too. So I stopped going from that rickshaw. Ofcourse my parents knew about my father was very angry on him but he couldn't do much I used to go to the same school where he used to drop other students . But later when I changed my school I saw again that person near our school , he was there to pickup one of our classmate . At that I didn't reacted. But next day I told her every thing which had happened to me , and warned her to leave that rickshaw. And she left too , now she is safe .

Remember Ajmer rape case. The guy(Muslim guy from a renound and powerful family in Ajmer) groomed one girl from Sophia college and raped and took her photos and then blackmailed her and then made her to bring her more girls from her school and raped and took photos of them too. It was big scandal but the guy got jail and was freed and now lives in Ajmer with his gunda family and no can do anything. Almost 200 girls from that school were raped and school kept quite. This came out when girls started doing suicide after getting raped

These private schools are really smart. They first make the innocent child say things that they can use against the parents and then use their different tactics to just generalise a major incident. They start by saying please calm down or sometimes even say we will not talk until you speak in a civilised manner, thats what they do. Sometimes parents and children are in some condition that they cant even leave the school because it might disturb us ourselves only. This is a real issue and these schools try to take full benefit of this.
