Omg that song brings me so mutch memories I now live in Canada but all my friends lives in Brick field were they are from know them they were kids when ever am home in trinidad always go to that village to visit

Love the singing and drumming music... . 1 left Trinidad 55 years ago, and I lost my way, my roots. as listening. It’s beautiful ... remember my Father singing from the Indian holy book... bring back memories.. very sad.....

Sudama came to meet; his pal Krishna (from Mathura) today, O my Lord (Ram). [Sudama was sent by his wife, Sushila - but had only enough courage to go to the gate.] 1. Ha'sī ha'sī Rukmanī pūche (2); he-u lagī hai tumhār. Shrī Krishna jī ke yār, O more Rāma. (Refrain) Laughingly, Rukmini asks, "Who is he (this person) to you?" [Sudama was invited inside - there Krishna discovered the beaten rice, Sushila sent.] 2. Mu'h thī ek tandūl lāī (2); sehu rākhe chhipāī. Shrī Krishna jī ke yār, O more Rāma. (Refrain) To the mouth was brought the beaten (parched) rice, that was kept hidden (by Sudama). [As Krishna eats, Sudama (without knowing) gets more wealth - so Rukmini stops Krishna from eating the last portion, thinking that she would end up with no wealth.] 3. Janame ke mitrā Sudāmā (2); paṛhe ek chatsāl. Shrī Krishna jī ke āj, O more Rāma. (Refrain) A life-time friendship with Sudama; was renewed today. [Sudama left without receiving anything from Krishna - but when he went home, he could not recognize his own home, until his wife called out and told him of the change in their fortunes.] .

can someone tell me why classical singers do not post lyrics of their songs so young persons can keep it alive.i love classical singing

They don't post their lyrics because most of them are selfish people. They would rather take the little they know & bury it 6 feet under the earth when they go! Also they are, apparently, afraid that the younger folks might sing the songs better than they can. Several of the songs came from a book, Bhajan-mala Sangrah (1893) published by Gita Press in Gorakhpur, UP, India. I have never seen a bunch of more low-natured people; except (of course) for greedy purohits - who will squeeze a rock (poor person) until they get milk (dakshna). Pax vobiscum. .
