The bigger question is WHY MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF THIS? They are just pace notes. How and why would they be illegal? Shouldn’t all pace notes be exactly the same for each car provided by the governing body?

@@FormulaPunRacer and they shouldnt be the, same because each driver has their preferences and jargoon, also drivers and co-drivers go through alot of effort to write them through the recce not to say the drivers prefer to make them themselves no governing body would ever be able to mass issue pacenotes that fit everyone and without backlash.

​@@FormulaPunRacerit is an advantage but only slight. The local pacenotes are the ones developed over the years by locals. Which means knowing every corner, bump etc. by heart. In reality it only gives slight advantage the driver still has to perform and drive and rally conditions are not the same every year. Puras is not the only guy that did tricks I bet works drivers had them to. Everybody always has a trick up their sleeve or something others dont know. To me this was just an excuse because Puras and Bugalski were fast in a new car which was still developing. It caught everyone by suprise and maybe Peugeot snitched because they didnt want to be beaten by a junior team.
