It's that kind of conditions, as explained by Luis Moya in the beginning, that makes rally racing the kind of motorsport that demand pure guts. Even though they say F1 is extreme, nothing compares to the inherent UNPREDICTABLE danger that rally racing has. F1 is all about speed. Yeah, there is cornering, but once you memorized it, it's all about consistency and memory. Things change nearly every minute in rallying. ADAPTABILITY defines a true racing driver... Something rally driver's have.

Usually WRC prototypes go from normally anywhere from 1/4 million to 1/2 a million. Then you need to hire mechanics, co driver, endless fuel stops, replacement parts, tyres and much more. If you wanna drive a Peugeot fast, try buying a 206 Sport with the 1.6 engine, or the 206 GTi. They go for anywhere between 2 thousand and 4 thousand so are many times cheaper. Then you can comepete in Autosolos (basically, a course i mapped out round a car park with cones and you race against the clock). If you have a larger budget, you can try grassroots rallying. You'll still have to pay for fuel and tyres, but you can get a racecar for under 10k. If you like RWD you can have a M3, or FWD there are Golf's and Yugo's available. Also if you haven't got it already, try Richard Burns Rally. It features the ACTUAL Richard Burns and he teaches you how to drive, and you can race online against other people with very cool cars, like Impreza, Quattro and Delta (no 206 yet but they might add it in).
