That 1st blonde female model in the Red Tux is my pick over the rest....even Katie Holmes cannot touch her...just my one opinion. I loved it when RL says he can remember when he could NOT afford to buy a car. Think about that one. I have much respect for a man who comes from nothing yet has the determination and the drive to succeed with the talent God gave them.....and it happens mainly in America, baby....still the land of opportunity for happiness and self satisfaction and now lets stop a second........ it does not have to be all about the money and glamour, either. Many, many Americans are no where near wealthy, yet they are happy, content and at peace within themselves. Good for them. My wish is for all of us to have exactly that....no matter one's color or talent. That said, One's Character is the core of his/her entire soul. I have found for me anyway, by just looking into one's eyes I can tell a lot about that person. I have found in only two people I have ever met....... the eyes of 'biblical' pure evil. It is something I wish to not experience again.....if it has never happened to you and I hope not, you will never forget it. Luckily for me and I hope you too, those people are far and few away.

Saw his Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic in person once. One of the most stunning pieces of sculpture I've ever seen. Every aspect of its aesthetic and craftsmanship is just breathtaking. The fact that it's a well functioning vehicle adds a whole other dimension of realty. Form and function have rarely reached this peak. Highest respect to the original designers. If you have any appreciation for art or cars, and ever have a chance to see it, don't pass it up.

Quality over quantity . Infact ralph's collection is way more valuable than leno's. His 250gto is probably worth 90% of lenos whole collection.

Yixuan is right about the value, just a rough glance around Jay leno's compared to RL you can see its more valuable, GTO is 60m, 250TR is 30/40. Atlantic is 60, SWB is 10, Whilst i like jay leno's aswell, i would prefer this, because i prefer the rare euroclassics compared to alot of the american cars which Jay Leno has. How is RL a poser with his cars? he is at the top of his game, doesnt need to pose, he likes cars just like Leno,

I saw a lot of his collection at the Museum in Boston several years back. The thing that struck me was the minute attention to detail in the resorations down to the smallest nut and bolt from the Bugatti Atlantique to the Mclaren F1 and every Ferrari, (thats 50s Testarossa is spectacular), and Jaguar.

Jack the one that was owned by Jean was the only black one made, that’s why they came out with the new La Voiture Noir last year as a homologation to it. There was also a light blue one, a silver and a french racing blue one as well as the missing black one. The one Ralph owns has to be a replica as the other 3 are accounted for and are in their original colour.

Racing Bro the 250 GTO is less exclusive as 36 were made. The Type 57 Atlantic had 4 made 3 of which are still around. However, to my knowledge the 250GTO is still the most expensive car ever sold. Although I haven’t seen a type 57 up for sale in a long time I’m sure they are close in price

Those were the years when he probably could not afford a car, as he mentions in this video. He is entirely a self made man. No one handed him his money on a platter. John Skywalker jay leno has a great collection and pretty good taste, i still think ralf lauren's collection is superior. But that s just my opinion. Many people would also think that a great collection has to be all about modern hypercars... but you can't beat the legendary classics. There is a reason why some of these cost over 40 million a piece and not 2 million like modern top notch sold brand new.

I remember seeing an f40 in a petrol station once, it was filthy , covered in mud and bugs , there were a couple of juice cans and wrappers inside of it , it was the best f40 I've ever seen because it was driven and used hard , the owner realised it was only a car and built to be driven hard and fast

That’s one big reason I love his clothes for men it’s because he does put influences from cars into his clothing/accessories. Especially with purple label. Amazing car collection. Love the Aston Martin DB5! Great seeing the model/actress Sasha Luss (blonde hair) in this fashion show. Wearing the bright red double breasted jacket with black bow tie. She was great in the spy thriller movie, “Anna”. Which was filmed after this fashion show in 2017.

Just great to know he loves cars as well since I do too especially Classics. like him , I believe that cars are art but I also believe that they are fashion as well since they can get mixed with your clothes and moods and they are both a reflections of your personality! We were at Lime Rock years ago and not being able to race on Sunday you would race on Monday. Being a car guy and doing a few restorations they were having a concur on the main strait on Sunday morning. It was early on Sunday and there was the most gorgeous silver gull wing I had ever seen. After looking at multiple cars I came back to this car two or three times. I was kneeling next to it looking under the huge rocker panels and a well dressed gentleman came up and said to me “can I answer any questions for you?” I stood up and responded that I could not believe how beautiful this gullwing was and commented how gorgeous the paint and the interior was. He replied thank you and we shook hands and I walked away. One of my friends asked me if I knew who that was and I answered no. It was Ralph Lauren and I believe but not sure that silver Mercedes 300 gull wing is the car shown in this video.
