If you want a hemi sound get a hemi, this is a flat head V6 they will never sound similar

YEAH, i agree.. Dont want my truck to sound like a Civic (No pun intended to Civic owners) I just put a large tip on mine. V6 is a V6 Not a v8. If you want a v8 sound, then pay the money for a v8. Soon enough I will trade mine in for a V8 once I'm done with all the highway driving.

Best thing you can do is leave the resonators on. The resonators get rid of that high-pitched annoying raspy sound.

@@marcelrawls1098 I'm on the Ram forums and from what I can tell your best shot is to get the true dual exhaust setup from a Hemi powered Ram. That's what I'm looking for at the moment, I just need to find a good deal like some other members did (as low as $150). Dual pipes can clear the regular back bumper but if you find the true duals and back bumper with the cutouts grab both

I don't think it will ever sound real good as it has built in exhaust manifolds, if we could bolt long tube headers on it would probably rumble.

I've had probably 15 different mufflers between 2 different 3.7 v6 rams. The best sounding ones would be the 10 series flowmaster dumped over axle, or a turbo style muffler dumped before the axle.

That 8 speed transmission gets UP there when ya get on it. I have a 2015 v6. TFL Truck did a whole video on it. Super interesting stuff 👌

That unusual doesn't translate to reliability issues, though. I have one of these Rams with over 200K and it runs great. The revving thing may have something to do with the way the TPS is calibrated or something like that. But no big deal for sure

Ecodiesel is a v6 and basically sounds like this gasser, but has less 33% less horsepower with only 40% more torque. It also has camshafts that yeet themselves around 120k miles, so the ED is a solid meh for me. People are turbo and supercharging these stock Pentastar motors and getting scat pack numbers on the dyno reliably on pump gas. P* has no major problems or defects AFAIK. It's a good motor. Take of the tall knobbies, lower the truck, and have 3.92's in the diff and with that 8-speed it'll rip. Even more if you put forced induction to it.
